Remember back in 2008, when Obama was running and he promised "change"? People bought it, they all thought he was a superhero that could instantly fix the countries problems. I don't think i know a single college student that didn't vote for Obama..... and well, look what Obama has done, he's done nothing. Same thing with ron paul, he's promising change by "following the constitution". If he gets elected he will ruin this country with isolation. why are you supporting this crazy old man???

Sometimes when benching my wrists hurt or become sore, same for when I do pushups. Is this normal? Or is my form wrong? Another guy and I asked our weightlifting teacher, but he said not to worry about it but I have I feeling I'm doing something wrong. Thanks for your input

So recently I have been working with an Army recruiter about enlisting so I would go off to bootcamp right after I graduate high school and become an 11x. I'm a senior now. But I've been giving it a lot of thought and was considering getting my associates degree or some trade school certificate before trying to enlist and serve. I told my recruiter about this and he said that the sooner I enlist the better, because the army is downsizing and if I don't enlist right now that I probably won't be accepted again in 2 years and that now is the best time to enlist. Is this true? Or does he just want me to enlist so he can get his bonus or something? I want to be in the army and serve, but I also want to experiance a civilian job and college. What should I do? Thanks for any serious input.

When I was 15 (I'm 18 now) I went to a very strict private school. One day I decided to try weed so i smoked pot with a "friend" and the next day he got arrested and then told the school and the cops that I smoked with him. The school said I can either go to rehab and not go to their school anymore or they would press charges on me. So I went to a month long rehab and I've never been in trouble since that one day.
So my question is will I be able to enlist still? I've met twice with an army recruiter and this Is something I want to do. So should I mention this to my recruiter? Or keep quiet? I meet with him again on Friday so will he ask me about counseling?

About 6 months ago I went to a Marine recruiter and he told me all the MOS slots are based on a fiscal year. He said each september the slots reopen and I could get my MOS. Well I talked to him yesterday and he said now that I wouldn't be able to pick my own MOS and that I needed to enlist within the next week or I couldn't get in the marines because they are downsizing. and so I decided to talk to the army. I'm trying to contact an army recruiter, but I was wondering if this fiscal year thing is true and if it applys to all branches?? I'm just trying to get 11x with an airborne contract. Everyone tells me its impossible to get 11x, but if this fiscal year thing is true shoudlnt I be able to get 11x next month since the slots reopen?
