Is Charleston SC worth the travel? Is there a nice night life for early 20 year olds to enjoy?
My boyfriend and I (both in early 20s) are going to Hilton Head. We are debating about leaving early Saturday and traveling to Charleston SC and leaving Monday morning. Is it worth it? Is there a night life to enjoy downtown? Should we just stay in Hilton Head or is it worth the travel?

Before, after submitting the details a list of categories would come up to pick where your question would be placed. Now once you click submit, there is no option to pick the category, one is simply just given to your question. How do I chose?
3 AnswersYahoo Answers6 years agoMy mother considers herself a veteran, but I don't necessarily consider her one. Should I?
My mother joined the national guard when she was young. She has mentioned on MULTIPLE occasions, that it was strictly to pay for college. She did go to Texas after training for a six week course to become a medic, but it sounded like a big vacation. She of course was on the "in listed" recorded, but never ever did anything after training. Literally nothing. She was only ever trained, and never put to any use.... I commend her for completing the training, but I know lots and lots of people who have completed the training she has... That are not simply doing it for a college tuition, but because they truly want to contribute to the country.
My mother insists on taking every veterans discount there is possibly available, and brings up being a vet any and every opportunity she has.
Am I wrong to feel uncomfortable about this? I do genuinely respect what she has done, but I can't help but belittle her accomplishments when I think of the many who have gone to much greater lengths to serve the country.

5 AnswersOrlando6 years agoWhen my mother stretches or is in pain, her groans she lets out sound very sexual?
If my mom is stretching, or if I am rubbing her shoulders, or if she is in any pain, all her groans and moans are horribly sexual sounding. Her common grumbles just sound like she is moaning in pleasure. It makes me awfully uncomfortable and slightly nauseas. Is there anyway I can tell her politely that her noises are disgusting to me?

5 AnswersPolls & Surveys6 years agoCan one be passionate about a something with doing little to no action or pursuit towards the matter?
It s a subject I ve been debating for a while now. I have friends that say they are passionate about things, but do not put effort in towards their claims.
So some say they are passionate about traveling. When I take a trip and ask if they would like to join, they decline or make a weak excuse as to why they can t, when in reality their excuses always have a number of ways to easily get around if they actually wanted to come. When free time in their lives does come up, they make no action to plan any trip of any sorts.
Others say they are passionate about nature, but never take any chance to go and enjoy nature in their time. We have trails around where we live, and they have never even once walked through them.
One says she is passionate about Habitat for Humanity, for she is currently in a club at school. Though she participates when there are schedule events, she does nothing outside of the club or on her own to continue to pursue this "passion"
I do fully believe that these people certain do like to travel, and do appreciate nature, and love Habitat for Humanity, but with no efforts put in on their own time towards these matters, is it something they can still say they are passionate about?
What do you guys have to say?
1 AnswerCommunity Service6 years agoPassing by Pittsburgh, where should I stop for a couple of hours?
I am passing by Pittsburgh on my way to Virginia, and since I have never been, I would love to enjoy what Pittsburgh has to offer. I will arrive around 6:30 on a Wednesday night, and can stay for around 3 or 4 hours. Is there a down town strip to walk around, a great place to eat, somewhere with live music. I have not the slightest clue is in the area, so I need any type of guidance I can get.
thanks (:
2 AnswersOther - United States6 years agoWhat page is this quote on in the book ALLIGENT (3rd book in DIVERGENT series?
There are so many ways to be brave in this world. I'm times bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else sometimes involves giving up everything you have ever known, everything you have ever loved for the sake of something greater.
I'm times it is nothing more than gritting your teeth The pain and work every day, the slow walk to a better life.
That is the bravery I must know now.
