Illegal or Just Unprofessional?
My sister and her ex-husband are due in court soon, in the state of Arkansas, for a ruling on child custody issues. My sister is the primary custodian of her daughter. My sister's ex has an attorney who, in an attempt to build some sort of a case, called my 15 year old niece today while my sister was at work. The attorney asked my niece numerous questions without my sister's knowledge. My sister did not give consent to have her daughter questioned by anyone. Is this conduct by the attorney illegal, unprofessional, or normal?

I work in a sheet metal facility that produces spiral pipe. Often, we have to cut openings in the pipe in order to install certain fittings. My question is this: What formula would I use to determine how many inches of material to remove from the circumference of a pipe of a given diameter in order to achieve a specific sized opening measured in a straight line from one side of the opening to the other?
For example, if I have a 16-inch diameter pipe, and I need an opening measuring 14 inches (along the length of the pipe) by 8 inches (across the flat plane formed by removing material from the circumference of the pipe), I need to remove how much material from the circumference of the pipe?
