that the recent Town Hall fiascos are a result of high tensions and natural responses to agression? Also, isn't it possible that the Obama administration did NOT orchestrate any groups to make any kind of action anywhere, but that these groups acted of their own volition?

There is no doubt that Obama claimed that the cops acted "stupidly" when arresting Professor Gates. But was it because of perceived racial motives, or was it because Gates is a friend of his? Or a third option I'm leaving out?

Something like "the bailout pays for Olbermann's contract" or "9/11 was a government operation and my proof is open-ended questions that can be answered by physics". On the "No Spin Zone", Bill O'Reilly recently assigned a letter grade to Obama for his actions as President. Does anybody remember what it was?

He's President of the United States, a country that has used socialism, in varying degress, for almost 80 years.

Because I've seen this number go up almost every day. One person actually thinks that Obama's projected deficit will be $23 trillion. Yeah.

The Democrats in power AND the Republicans in power love days like today. Instead of focusing on improving our country, the lot of you bicker over which party is really to blame for everything, which president "caused" the recession, and which "party" is "fascist" (or "socialist" - whatever now-meaningless word you use). We have a chance to fix our country, and you're all blowing it. I'm sick of this crap too, but I'm even more sick of mud-slinging armchair politicians who think they know everything, but in reality, they only know which side of the story their "party" wants them to know.

The Somali pirates that attackes the Alabama ship were terrorists? Here's the definition:

1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.

2. the state of fear and submission produced by terrorism or terrorization.

3. a terroristic method of governing or of resisting a government.

Anything at all would be nice, because Laura Ingraham called them terrorists this morning and, surprise surprise, she had no actual facts to back it up. Thanks in advance!

I consider myself libertarian, but I would have voted for him. YAARRRGH!

I mean, really. They both blindly supported the unconstitutional, pointless, and expensive War on Terror. Neither party hesitated when they threw billions at the banks and the auto companies. Both parties support No Child Left Behind, immigration amnesty, and erosion of civil liberties. Yet, the only difference I see is the people they fool (business types vs. the average American).

And yes, I know that there are some "differences" between the two parties, such as abortion and socialized welfare. But, neither party is going to get rid of those differences, so should they even be considered?
