I have a gaming PC with SLI GTX 580's 1.5 GB VRAM. I'm thinking about selling those and buying a Superclocked GTX 980 with 4GB VRAM. Is this an upgrade or will the 2 580's be pushing more frames?

Ex girlfriend has contacted me multiple times since ive ignored her for a couple of days. She broke up with me and im starting to get a bit of power back by ignoring her. She is getting a bit desperate but I dont want to give in so easily. She broke up with me and I want her to work for it to get me back. Thats the only way she is going to look at me than more than just a "close friend who she loves" I have ignored her alot and she is getting a bit angry in her texts. Last text said "ur a jerk, I thought u wanted to hangout and date and I really thought that you were gunna try but whatever"

How should I respond to that text? How do I tell her I was "busy" in a nice way.

Every week you are supposed to log 2 job contacts in order to receive unemployment benefits. When you write down the names of the companies and "who you talked to" about your application, does someone from the unemployment office contact those employers? Or what do they check?

I currently have a Corsair TX850Mw coming in the mail as a replacement. Had Amazon send me my first Corsair TX850w and it worked for like an hour then it died on me. I didnt even play any games on the GPU cards. Was it a fluke/bad psu or do I need something stronger? I need to know if it will be powerful enough for these specs:

Im building a desktop with the $2000 dollars that I have and I need help with the compatibility of parts because its my 1st time. What do I need to look for ? I already bought Nvidia 580 SLI setup and an intel 2700k processor to start. I need to know which motherboard to get. Which tower? Which hard drive? which power supply? 1000watt? are all dvd drives compatible? and how much should i pay for a good one? I want to get wireless. Would I need a card and a router? I have an Alienware m18x with Dual Crossfire AMD 6970's and an i7-2630QM CPU processor coming in the mail. I was wondering if my current CPU will bottleneck the Crossfire configuration?

I found a stray dog walking down the street and it kept following me. So I opened my door and it got in my car. I saw that the dog was neutered with no collar and took it home. I gave it food and water and tried to take it out to go to the bathroom, but it just kept sniffing. So, I tried to lightly pull it back into my house and it tensed up and stood its ground outside. So, I had to pull extremely hard to get it to come back in. It keeps staring at my front door, wanting to go outside. He still hasnt gone to the bathroom and I was wondering what I should do? Is it acting like this because it has an owner and doesnt feel comfy with me? He smells really bad :) Should I try and take care of him? He doesnt like to be lonely inside the house and follows me everywhere I go. Im probably going to take him to the humane society today. Help me out guys.

how much faster is the 6970 crossifre setup than the 5870 crossfire setup???

I have an Alienware m18x coming in the mail to replace my old m17x with infinite amount of problems. I bought AMD 5870 crossfire config for the m17x and for the m18x, they are sending me the Nvidia 460m SLI config. Apparently the nvidia cards are a lil less powerful than the AMD crossfire I have. I want to get the AMD crossfire 6970 config not only because they are 3x more powerful. But, because I despise nvidia and bought AMD on purpose before. What would be a good excuse to tell Dell technical support to get them to send me the 6970's? Those are the only AMD's available for the m18x.

Dell is sending me a brand new Alienware m18x with Nvidia SLI configuration to replace my m17x with AMD Crossfire configuration. I HATE Nvidia. I bought AMD cards for a reason. Power and less overheating. Do you think there is any way to call and ask for a Gpu exchange since I use AMD for my graphics designs class?

I have an Alienware m17x with dual ATI 5870's Crossfire. Alienware is sending me a brand new Alienware m18x with Dual NVIDIA GTX 460M's SLI configuration for my troubles. I looked online and it would appear that the SLI configuration is actually slower in benchmark than my current configuration. Does this give me leverage to call them and say that I want the AMD 6970 crossfire configuration instead? Or is the SLI configuration faster?

Alienware/Dell is sending me a NVIDIA GTX 460m SLI configuration laptop to my house. I recently found out that the AMD 6970 Crossfire configuration was twice as powerful as the SLI configuration they are sending me. What would be a good excuse to tell Alienware in order for me to get the NVIDIA cards replaced with the AMD cards? I thought about telling them that I need AMD cards for my school programs. Any ideas? ALienware has been a pain in my *** and I think I deserve an upgrade anyways :)
