i'm depressed & have been self harming and have been trying to stop & the feelings are really strong right now.

i'm confused. i found out a little less than a week ago but i've always kinda knew he was mentally unstable. my parents divorced a few months ago because he was abusive and wild to my mom & the family. i've been thrrough a lot & i'm a teenager. i'm depressed & have been self harming on/off for over a year, currently trying to stop because a therapist found out and i have to stop.

idk. i'm just, confused. i feel like i'm just getting even deeper in depression and idk what to do. i dont know how to react. i don't know what to do, i just want self destruction, a quick fix.

he refuses to accept that hes messed up and get help. he thinks he's perfectly stable and lives with one of my younger brothers and since he wont get help, hes not getting any.

idk. i'm just confused.

i don't do it every day or anything, but i do it when i need to. when i get upset, or something triggers it or whatever. i dont really care all too much about it.

i cant say i'm looking to stop cuz i feel like its not that big of a deal... i feel like i can never stop because its something that will always be there and its not rlly like im continuously doing it. i just do it or dont. i dunno... im wondering if i'm addicted...

it started dec 2009 with scratching, then moved to broken plastic cuz i was depressed. it went away pretty quick and wasnt noticable. it was on/off i didnt pay much attention to it.

then dec 2010 until maybe now i've been using scissors and its been kinda bad i guess... my upper thighs have slight scars, but they fade, i think they'll be gone. but still. its deeper when i do it now and i bleed.

i'm just curious cuz i've never thought of it as an addiction, just a way for me to cope...

i self harm, i know its bad but i use it to cope. and lately i've been so depressed, to the point where i just dont want to be here anymore. but i dont get it, i dont even wanna cut anymore. it doesnt make any sense to me. anybody can explain tthis to me or have the same thing?

I'm a girl, 13 yrs old. About 2 days ago this guy i like asked me out. I said yes. Today he tried to kiss me and I said no. I told him I wanna take things slow.

I have had my first kiss, and after it I broke up with the guy I was going out with. I've dated a few (3/4?) guys, and I dumped them all. Either because I didnt really like them that much, cuz it wasnt working out, or... cuz i was scared to kiss.

I havent kissed anyone since my first kiss, which was in the summer.

When the guy I'm currently going out with leaned in, I got scared. I'm not sure whether its cuz I'm not ready, or what. I also know that my feelings for him are not that strong. When we became really close and he told me he liked me, he avoided me for a week. Then he told me its cuz he didnt think I had feelings for him and he didnt wanna ruin our friendship. So I told him I like him a lot. Which, at the time, I did. Then he asked me out, I said yes.

Now I don't know what to do! I don't wanna dump him and ruin our friendship. Help? :'[
