questions about labour and giving birth?
I have a few questions as im due on April 2nd and im so so scared, but not really about the pain.. mostly due to the fact people are going to see me, near enough naked. I am so shy! its on my mind 24/7 about how embarrassed I will be. I want to be in a pool/bath through my labour.. are you allowed to wear a bikini or anything? and bottoms? obviously when i give birth I wont be able to. And also can it be just that one midwife delivering, or is it mostly quite a few people? I will be so frustrated if a load of women are looking at my you know what! along with being in all that pain. Oh god. Reassurance please?!
5 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoIs this the weirdest craving or what?
Im 6 months pregnant, and the other day l all of a sudden had the urge to suck a wet sponge! The smell of it was just amazing, and then I sucked the water out of it.. I would love to just chew it and eat it but obviously im not going to do that. Also the smell of clean wet washing when it comes out of the machine sets me off too! My mouth is watering at the thought of a wet sponge
2 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting9 years agoHow do I publish a book?
I have started writing a book, and when I am finished I would absolutely love to sell copies of it of corse. The dream is to see my book on shelves but at the moment I really can't see it happening as I am completley broke, and basicly just about getting by. How on earth do I go about getting my dream? getting my book published ect?

6 AnswersMovies10 years agoHow do I find and watch Darren Brown?
Bit of a weird and different question, but I watched an episode of Darren Brown ages ago, and it was the one where he hypnotizes this guy and the guy falls asleep, and when he wakes up hes in a made up zombie game, and he thinks its real and doesn't know how he got there? also there was another one where a guy is in a plane simulator, and truly believes he is flying a plane, and saving peoples lifes, because it was going to crash?

5 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoWhy do I have an obsession with the 1800's?
This is weird, but I am convinced I should have been born 100's of years ago. e.g. in the victorian/georgian period. I am obsessed with old victorian houses and mansions, and the thought of living in one and how victorians used to dress makes me want to go back in time so bad. I am sure that im not supposed to be from these times. Why do I feel like this?
6 AnswersHistory10 years ago80/40 blood pressure, way too low?
Is my blood pressure dangerously low at 80/40? Im pregnant by the way. What can I do to get it higher? should they have even let me go at the hospital when I had my midwife appointment?
4 AnswersOther - General Health Care10 years agoLow blood pressure while pregnant?
I heard that it is normal for your blood pressure to drop while pregnant, but lately mine has droped alot. When it was normal and ok it was 105/80, and a few weeks later it went down to 81/40... the midwife said that if that was her, she would be passing out, and she was surpised I hadnt. In the last few days I have felt really light headed, and if I stand up for too long my head goes all dizzy and I feel sick, and have to sit down. Is there something really wrong?
4 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoI am still craving a cigarette?
I found out I was pregnant at 3 months, as soon as I found out, I quit smoking. I thought maybe I could cut down and wean myself of it and quit, but it wasn't working so I went cold turkey. I heard that after 2-3 days of quitting your craving goes but its been a month and I havent stopped craving one! its driving me nuts. I wont touch one, as im pregnant and even if someone was to shove one in my mouth, I still wouldnt but I want to know: Will I always feel this way? when will I stop craving one? ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

4 AnswersPregnancy10 years agoKnowing if its a girl or boy?
Im 17 weeks pregnant, and have a really really strong instinct that its a girl. Before I even knew I was pregnant I had a dream that I had a baby girl, which makes me think even more that it is. Has anyone heard of the 'nub theory'? because on my 16 week scan picture the 'nub' is pointing horizontally. I heard this means its a girl? (could be a load of rubbish) The only thing that is making me think it could be a boy is that when my mum had me, all through her pregnancy she was 100% adamant that I was going to be a boy.. but I wasn't. Has anyone else experienced this? and why do I have such a strong feeling?
6 AnswersBaby Names10 years agoHow to remove red hair?
I have faded red hair, which has been dyed numerous times. There is ALOT of colour build up from previous colours and now I really want a natural colour e.g. light brown or a dark blonde colour. Ive heard 'b4 colour' is really good? has anyone used it, and what do you think of it? also what other options do I have if that fails?
