  • Legal help on age of consent?

Okay, so I was talking to this girl. She was being rather flirty. She's not 16 yet (16 is the age of consent in Nsw) and we were talking about laying in bed cuddling. I'm 18. So I'm over the age of consent. I knew it was probably a bit iffy talking to this girl like this. Anyways, long story short her mum read the messages and wasn't happy.. Could I get myself in legal trouble? We didn't talk about doing anything sexual, but her mum seems to think that was my intent. Where do I stand legally?

  • Feeling things that aren't there? (physically)?

Hey guys, a bit of a weird one. I went over to Thailand recently and about 3 days ago I bought a watch there (as you do they're cheap). I've worn it a bit but not constantly but since I have put it on it the feeling of it being there has not gone away.

I took it off as soon as I got home today and that was about 12 hours ago and it still feels like it is wrapped around my wrist. It physically feels no different to wear it or not apart from when I don't wear it I can't feel it with the opposite hand (because it's not there duh).

It's a plastic banded watch and I haven't had it on tight at all. It's just odd. When I move my wrist around I can feel it there. It's been bugging me since I got it because I would take it off of a night and would wake up and go to take it off as it was annoying me and realise it is on the other side of the room. I ignored it untill now, but 12 hours is a little long for the feeling still to be there and I'm trying to go to sleep but it's bugging me.

  • Being trialed as an adult or minor?

Hey guys. I have a bit of an odd question regarding the Australian court system. My girlfriend was raped when she was 14 by a guy who was 15 at the time.

Basically, I think the sicko deserves to rot in prison so he is now 17 nearly 18. If we deside to take him to court when he is 18 will he receive a more servere penalty because he is an adult? He has already been trialed for rape of a 13 year old girl and got let off somehow.

Also, I am the only person she has ever trusted enough to tell, am I under any obligation to contact an authority? I am obviously trying to convince her that it was not her fault and that it is not something she should be ashamed of and I have told her I think we should tell someone, but I am not going to go against her will and tell someone if she is not comfortable to. She is 16 now and I am 18.

Any insight would be much appreciated, she means the world to me and to think there are sick people out there getting away with this makes me I'll.

  • Relationship advice/ Life help?

Ok, welcome to the ****** up story of my life. Im 17, my girlfriend is 14. When we met she was the happiest most bubbly awesome amazing loving and wonderful girl I had ever met, she would be a little bit upset every now and then but I could always cheer her up. Eventually we fell in love and I asked her out. Not long ago she opened up to me about her cutting addiction and her depression that seemingly came out of nowhere. Her parents divorced when she was little because her dad was a drug abuser and I think that is a large cause of her sadness. She has been showing self destructive behaviour recently, she doesn't want help. I have tried everything to help her, I offered to take her on a picnic but she did not want to go. She doesn't tell me much anymore, if something is making her upset she refuses to tell me. I have been talking to my friends sister, she is 13. She has very very mild depression, she came to me for help and we have been hanging out a bit, I spent today at the beach with her being silly running around ans stuff. I think she has feelings for me, she tells me I make her happy and to be honest she makes me happy too, but I know she is too young and my parents would not approve as well as the fact I have a girlfriend. My girlfriend knows I am friends with this other girl but this is only recent, so its not why she is sad. My girlfriend said it would be cute if I dated this other girl. I am so confused, I love my girlfriend and I promised I would be by her side forever but she recently has not been showing me any love and that makes it really hard on me. If I ask her if she loves me she just says "really..." Like it's an unreasonable thing to ask and she says she does. Any advice is much appreciated.

  • Mothers opinion wanted! :)?

Ok I need a little motherly perspective on this. If your daughter were to run away from home and a guy that she was in love with (but you had not met) was to bring her home to you safely after calming her down, what would your opinion of him be? Would you think he is responsible for bringing her home to you?

  • If she runs away can I go and get her legally? (Australia)?

Ok, my girlfriend and her mum don't get along at all. She wants to run away and she wants me to come and get her because I have my P's. I am a little older than her but we are both under 18. I don't want to get done for kidnapping even tho she wants me to come and get her I know her mum wouldn't be happy. What are the legalities on this? I more than likely would not take her (to my) home, I would just spend the day with her till she calms down then I would take her home to her mum once I talk her into going. Any help is appreciated guys!

  • Girlfriend wants to smoke pot?

Ok, here's the story, my girlfriend is 14 and im 17. She is pretty stressed out at the moment because her father and best friend are both suicidal, she doesn't live with her dad because her parents split (because of drugs) and she thinks pot will help her relax. I tried to tell her not to do it and that it will be bad for her in the long run but she doesn't want to listen. I really love her and leaving isn't an option. Is there anything I can say or do to make her at least really think about the consequences? I would be ok if she did it once or twice but I don't want her to become reliant on it. Any help is appreciated guys (and gals haha :) ).

  • Is it good if you cry over her?

So last night I had a dream that something happened between my girl and I. I woke up in tears. I haven't cried in years over anything and never over a girl. My previous breakups I haven't really worried to much but even the thought of losing her brings a tear to my eye. Surely that must mean something? Or am I being a sook?

  • Is it wrong for a 14 year old to be with a 17 year old?

Ok, here's the situation. This girl is my good friends cousin (he's fine with it, he wants us to be together) and she's 14. Im 17 and we have been talking for awhile and we get along really well, we both like each other.

My parents know I'm talking to her and they said she might be a little young, but they're still ok with it because they trust I wouldn't do anything I shouldn't. She however hasn't told her mum yet (she doesn't live with her dad) because she's worried about her initial impression but I have encouraged her to tell her mum that we are talking because I don't want to be going behind her mum's back. We both think that when her mum meets me she will be accepting of us possibly being together.

I wouldn't do anything sexual until she is old enough and ready. We both really want to be together. Is this ok, or am I pushing the boundaries of what is right?

  • Help with her parents?

So there's this girl, I like her and she likes me and that's great but her parents don't want her to have a boyfriend or even guy friends for that matter. We aren't allowed to hang out at the moment. Is there anything I can do to convince her parents to let us hang out or so they can meet me? I'm 17, nearly have my P's and she's 16 next month. Thanks guys :)

  • Relationship help! Her actions don't agree with what is coming out her mouth haha!?

Hey guys, So there is this girl I like. She is 12 and I am 17, Before you judge we have known each other since we where little and our mums are best friends and they're cool with us. Now she say's we are just friends, we do a lot of stuff that friends don't do, for example she came over today and we were cuddling on the couch and she was being playful, then we went to my bed and mucked around there a bit more (nothing sexual) She was laying on my chest and all that cute stuff then we had our heads next to each other and she kissed me. She says she just wants to be single but I know she doesn't do that with anyone else and she knows I love her and I would never want to be with anyone else. We are apparently "best friends"... Ive had a drink or two so the words are getting a bit fuzzy lol so Ill just list anything I may have missed:

    - We both tell each other we love each other.

    - We practically act like a couple, we even write each other paragraphs that are more like novels of stuff we like about each other.

    - She says she wants to be single but she still loves me?

Question is how can I ( if i can) make her mine?

  • Dream Interpretation Wanted?

I had 2 dreams last night (I don't usually have dreams at all) They where both similar. In the first I was walking through a field with a lot of people around when an angry looking cow came running over a hill towards me, everyone ran away but I just stood there for some reason like I wasn't worried. The next one started the same but it was horse this time and it ran up to me then calmly put its head next to mine and I gave it a hug. I could feel that it was scared and upset. This is really unusual considering I'm a 17yo male haha. Any help is appreciated, will credit best answer. :)

  • Whats the best way to ask a girl out?

Long story short I want to ask this girl out, we have been friends for a while but I can see she likes me and I like her too. I want to do something special for her rather than just say "do you wanna go out". I thought about getting a skywriter but I don't have a spare four grand haha. Any ideas are appreciated. :) 1st person to come up with something I like gets best answer.

  • Why do have pain doing bicep curls?

Ok guys, I have been doing a little working out lately and I have pain in my arms when I do bicep curls. It's not muscular fatigue or pain inside the joint but it feels like where the muscle joins to the bone in my elbow joints is getting caught on something. It feels like it catches as I lift up and when my arm is almost all the way down it gets really tight and eventually feels like it snaps around whatever it is caught on. Any help is appreciated, thank you all in advance and I hope there is something I can do to fix it!
