So if I were to host an online tournament for some event and had a cash prize for the winner would that be considered gambling? In other words is this illegal?

I am hearing the phrase that sounds like "comment vous etes-vous?" in one of my homework assignments but I can not tell what other thing this recording can be. I know the regular way of saying how are you is "comment allez-vous" so i doubt its that but if anyone knows if "comment vous etes-vous" can be used in place of "comment allez-vous" let me know and thanks.

I'm planning on buying a new desktop computer that can support high demanding games (ie. guild wars 2)(Its frame rate is an average of 14 per second which is pretty bad especially when i have it set to the lowest settings possible in the game) but I'm not looking for anything amazing status just something that can support those type of games without any studdering (The cheaper the computer the better). I currently have a toshiba l505 laptop. And I can't simply change the graphics card because its integrated. (I'm also not too familiar with many computer terminology so if you can explain to me things like cpu or gpu in english that might come up in an answer that would help.)

Not die from like from smelling something toxic or anything like that but like smelling something absolutely fowl as in like poop or just food gone bad. Like rotten eggs. My question basically is, is there anything out there that can kill you by just smelling absolutely disgusting?

I am so confused, back in college (freshman year) I was a pretty skinny dude. I weighed about 105 lbs. and trust me I was pretty skinny. Anyways at the end of the year I ended up gaining weight and reached 125 by the end of the school year. But the thing is that when i was at 105 no girl really seemed to notice me or find me attractive but when I reached 125 a lot more girls started to give me the look and started talking to me as well. Now I'm a sophmore and I don't have that same attention and I weight the same as I did freshman year. Clearly its not about how much a guy weights so what is it that really attracts girls?

My property is shared with another house, the drive way leads all the way up to the wall behind our houses. My property is shaped as a huge square with pavement covered to form a T making up the driveway which both our houses share, the houses are to the left and right seperated by the driveway and a front lawn for both houses separated by the driveway as well. We have no fence to block the driveway leading to the back so anyone can just walk as they wish if they wanted to and possibly store stuff back there. We use the back as storage and parking our cars.Again the back just has pavement and no grass.

No cars were parked in the driveway and today my neighbor saw a car with a man outside his car who was parked in our driveway all the way in the back near the trash cans where there is dirt as if he was snooping around. My neighbor got back from work around 8 o'clock at night and couldn't park her car so she stopped half way and backed up to let the car out of the driveway and she assumed this guy was someone my family knew who came to visit so she didn't think too much of it. She went to ask my mom who that was since she never saw him before and he was a white guy (no offense) and we are Mexican. We told her that we didn't know anyone like that and this isn't the first time its happened. Its happened a lot of times that random people snoop in the back of our homes so I'm worried that they might be using our property to store drugs or something and having others pick them up from our place.

There was another other case where two guys around the age of 18 or so were walking into the back of our house and as they reached the back of the house my dad came out and saw them and asked them what they were doing there and they just ignored my dad and walked out of our property.

So my question is, is it possible to have the cops bring in a dog to search for drugs in our property and would we be held liable for them if there is any since it is in our property.

People all around the world have been judged by the social class they fall under; whether it would be having the same social, economic, or educational status; or different social, economic, or educational status.

So here is the situation.

My sister is in 6th grade and she ran into a problem recently. This girl (from the popular crowd) has her shoes and is wearing her shoes to school everyday. She claims that her shoes were given to her by her friend, even though she clearly hates my sister because my sister doesn't talk a lot. My sister says that she's not too sure if she left them outside the lockers in the girl's locker room or if she put them in but chances are that she left them outside, I'm thinking that's how she got them taken away. I am in college right now in a different state so I can't really do much but talk to her. She knows it's her shoes because the same dirt stains are on there as hers was. I need suggestions. If my mom goes to school and talks to the principal/ teacher/ faculty whatever it's just going to look bad on my little sister. I don't want her to have that kind of reputation where she has my mom solve all her problems and then the girls making fun of her for that. If she doesn't do anything and just let's her keep her shoes then I'm worried that they might do this again in the future and of course I don't want her to keep my sister's shoes. She has only one friend that she really talks to and she is in a different class. That girl who has her shoes is also in her class (6th graders have only one teacher all day by the way) and that girl is in her table of 4 to make things worse.

What can I tell my sister to do so she can get her shoes back and also not look pathetic getting them back (a.k.a. asking my mom to go to school to get them for her) ? She already told the girl that's her shoes but she won't give them back to her.

I'm a brother trying to help his sister any suggestions would be great. I would appreciate it a lot.
