I want to pay my Verizon Wireless phone bill, not verizon wireless internet bill. Are they the same company?
So, to cut a super long story short, I tried to get Verizon Fios and they royally screwed up every aspect of my order and after being told that due to them messing up my address (they made up my address, city, and zip code) it was going to take 4-6 more weeks to close the fake account they made and get me a new one (which I originally ordered). Clearly not acceptable with a web-based business. I was told they wouldn't charge anything until service started. I didn't trust them, canceled my card with the compromised integrity, rightly so, as they then tried to charge me $350 for a service that still hasn't been started.
Now, I have Verizon phone service and have had no problem with them whatsoever. I enjoy the phone service. I was told that the two are two completely separate companies that can't service each other. But can I actually pay my Verizon phone service with a credit card via secure website or will they be able to use my information to erroneously charge the FIOS?
Thank you!
1 AnswerCell Phones & Plans7 years agoHow to calculate an 18% APR?
I am thinking of applying for a specific store credit card, but I am suspicious of the high number. I've done some research, but I don't believe I understand it for certain.
It is an 18% APR with a grace period of 21 days. It states:
Balance Computation Method: Average Daily Balance
Then it states:
NOTICE: If I do not pay the total New Balance by the Payment Due Date, a FINANCE CHARGE will be added to the account for the current billing period. THE FINANCE CHARGE WILL BE A PERIODIC RATE OF 1.5% PER MONTH (ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE OF 18%) COMPUTED ON THE AVERAGE DAILY BALANCE (INCLUDING CURRENT TRANSACTIONS).
11. To calculate the Average Daily Balance, NFM will take the beginning balance of my account each day, add any new purchases or charges, and subtract any payments or credits. This gives NFM the daily balance. Then NFM will add all the daily balances from the billing cycle and divide the total by the number of days in the billing cycle. This gives NFM the Average Daily Balance. Under the terms of special promotions identified as Deferred Interest, certain purchases may have interest deferred for specified periods of time. Such purchases will be temporarily excluded from the calculation of the Average.
I make good money and I've never been late on payments, but I definitely don't want to make incredibly stupid financial decisions.
Could you explain it in terms of what I would be paying on a balance of about $5,000.00?
Thank you very much!
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance10 years agoSims Medieval Won't Let Me Save?
I've been playing my Sims game for a few weeks and I'm on Level Three as the Watcher and I am loooong past the tutorial mode, but suddenly my game is giving me problems. It's pulled up the tutorial prompts and currently shows 'Heroes' Lesson Screen which covers part of the playing area and won't go away no matter how often I click it. And then every time that I try to save, save as, or save and exit to menu, it says that the game can't be saved in tutorial mode.
I am soooo far past tutorial mode and I have played three missions in the meantime to see if I could trick the game out of tutorial mode glitch, but to no avail. Any ideas?
Thank you!
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games1 decade agoLooking for a cosplay with a belly shirt.?
I've always had really conservative cosplays and I would like one that shows the midriff. I know a lot of animes and I'm always ready to check out a new anime/manga/video game.
I'm a pretty girl (I'm legal, and look about 17) and I'd like a cute cosplay, please! The less obscure, the better (easier to get ahold of the cosplay), but I'd love a wide range of choice.
Thanks so much!
2 AnswersComics & Animation1 decade agoIs there some sort of tax-break for me in this?
I spent most of last year as a full-time student and I made a combined total of $1,400.00 at my other two jobs. However, my third job hired me as an Independent Contractor and I made $2,530.00 at this job. Now, since I didn't have to pay any taxes at the time, I know that I need to pay what taxes I owe for that amount of money, right?
The thing is, I've known (in previous years, anyway) of certain tax breaks that you can get for making so little money. I wouldn't even need to file if I could have just been hired and paid out the taxes like normal.
It may just be that I am misunderstanding what I've heard in the past. I completely understand WHY I need to pay in, but needless to say, money is VERY tight for me (yearly income being not quite $4,000), and I would like to take advantage of any break provided.
Otherwise, in order to pay back IN, I would just fill out my regular federal and state income, right?
Oh and demographically, I am filing as 'single' I am 23 and no one's dependent, and I spent most of last year as full-time student.
Thank you so much for your time!
2 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoHow much do I need to make a year in order to buy a $100,000 home? And how much for a down-payment?
Two friends and myself are looking to buy a home in the next few years. How much down-payment is expected, and how much should our combined income be in order to pay it off?
I'm not sure if the down-payment is related to credit scores, but just in case, I have a fantastic credit score. Which might not matter at all.
Anyway, thank you!

I am looking for beautiful Japanese names for boys. They can be common, though not from animes or mangas, please! And meanings with them.
