  • what’s that roly poly type creature in a prawn’s head?

    the many times that i’ve removed the heads and shells of a prawn for cooking, i’ve encountered this roly poly looking creature in one side of the prawns’ heads. like under the shell, beside its gills. not all of them, though, only a few! of course usually they’re dead since the prawns are frozen so i don’t really kno how they move.

    they creep me out so much but they’re so cute lol. i tried searching for it but i can’t find anything about it online. does anyone else have the same experience and does anyone kno what it’s actually called?
