well my special interest is astronomy and astrophysics, i havw no science degrees, but an accounting/finance degree. have read Hawkings works and reccomend my countryman Hilton Ratcliffes excellent work. have met Hilton he has his astrophysics and quantum mechanics phd's from America! his work called the Static Universe clears loads of stuff up for me and is a great source of facts for amateur astronomers like us!
