I would like to start making stuffed animals, or plushies, with original characters I have developed. I plan on selling them at a market downtown. I know it's a bit irrational, but I'm afraid someone will steal either the name, or design, of the animals. Do I need to go through any process to make sure this doesn't happen? Can I do this process for free?
