i am working on a cummins ism engine on a freightliner chassis. i pulled codes and got 97 fmi3.?
all the codes i've found are 3 & 4 digit codes. the transmission is a b300. does anybody have an explanation of this code and any other codes like it? i also have a code 84 fmi 2.

As said the 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel (24V) engine loses power and misses. I have codes: P1690- Fuel Injection Pump CKP Sensor doesn't agree with the ECM CKP Sensor, P1698-No CCD message from TCM and P0336-CKP Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance. I can't find these codes in any of my information. Any other Techs run into this problem? If so what was the repair? Techs only please. No guesses.

I have already replaced the front struts and upper bearing plates, but the noise continues. Has anybody else run into this problem? the rack and pinion is tight and looks like it is in good shape. I checked the ball joints and tie rod ends and everything is tight.
