In my business my clients occasionally want me to transport their purchased product from our location to their doorstep. Because of the potential for product to become damaged in transport due to unexpected accident I'd like to be able to have them sign a release of liability for our company.

Does anyone know where I can find a decent form that essentially does what I'm asking?

What happens to fat sells when we "use" them? Do they become consumed?

How does our body decide when to "consume" fat cells?

How does our body decide which fat cells to "consume"?

(I assume consumption of some kind because fat "goes away" when we eat well and exercise)

How does "consumed" fat cell or byproduct exit the body?

Is the byproduct liquid? Solid? Both? Neither? ... Heat?

Sure, I could probably spend hours looking this all up on the internet but I prefer getting answers from people who know the answers. Even ones that just seem to know the answers and can provide a reasonable rationalization for their answers.

I live on an off-the-grid island about the size of Manhattan.

There is no cell reception of any kind.

There are tall trees covering 98% of the island. (Douglas Fir)

I want a device that I can turn on at the start of my hike, go hiking for hours, then turn off when I'm done. THEN, I'll go to a computer to view the path I took.

If it has to have a display, fine. Although I have no real need for one.

I would like to then copy that trail to Goole Maps with my skills as a google maps editor.

What product will do what I need it to do?

The life span of a chicken that dies of old age is EVERYWHERE on the internet. However, try asking google to tell you how long the chicken you just ate lived and it has a hard time coughing up the answer.

Does anyone know how long the average chicken that ends up on our kitchen table as dinner lives?

If you know the difference between free range average and commercial megafarm average I'd be interested in that data too.

I'm building a small cabin as a seasonal place to escape to and live off the grid. I'm considering STONE, CINDER BLOCK, and LOG construction. I'm trying to discover which of these are the cheapest in the end. Here is the scenario:

The area is moderately sizemic. That's probably an important factor. It can experience minor earthquakes from time to time (Vancouver Island is a good location parallel).

Stone is very available on the property. If I go this way I would likely use all local stone and buy mortar mix to be made on-site.

Log is also available on the property. The project might be more 1-man than a group project, so if it's possible to do this mostly solo this would be a consideration.

Cinder block I would have to buy and transport. All mortar would be mixed on site.

Lastly, wood construction. If this is ultimately the cheapest and easiest option, to buy and ship in 2x4's and plywood then I'll go this way. It has to weather well so I'd need weather proofing materials also. It seems really expensive to me, but I've never had to buy materials for something like this before.

As an electrician I have a collected knowledge of how-to-install however zero exposure to the actual costs of building with these materials. Your advice on this topic is greatly appreciated.

I'm not interested in a rock form wall. I'm interested in a classic rock wall. I'm under the impression the construction is similar to cinder block construction, with mortar being placed between layers of rock as the wall is build vertically. However I'm having difficulty finding a name for this type of construction, and as a result, having difficulty trying to find videos of it on the internet.

Any help would be appreciated. Links to other sites and sources are very welcome.

In the year 2014, with all the advancements in warfare since the conception of nuclear weapons and the construction of successful ICBM's, what is the real effectiveness of an ICBM attack on a country like USA. With technology such as rail guns on navy ships that travel at supersonic speeds, and lasers shot from planes at the speed of light focused by an onboard supercomputer, does the ICBM even pose a real threat?

Last night I was dreaming. At the end of regular dreaming I suddenly found myself at my mother's house in my childhood bed, blankets covering most of my body except for my left leg. On the wall there was a large black scorpion about 8" long, with large white claws. It was climbing the wall. Startled, I sat upright in bed. Doing so startled the scorpion who jumped from the wall onto the end of the bed and faced me. I reacted and jumped upright again. The spider either bounced or jumped to my exposed leg and I froze. I started to shake and it either started stinging at me, I felt no pain, and I thought maybe it was not breaking skin. The fear was enough to wake me from my sleep.

I never have such out of place dreams like this. This strange moment at the end of my sleep cycle was extremely strange and out of character for my dream pattern.

I am about to drive 1400KM through snowy roads to stay with my mom. I am primarily making the trip to see a girl there who I may try to convince to move back here with me in time.

Will I get multi colours AND up/down fade if I just plug it into my circuit?
