I have a few small white sores on the top right half of my mouth. They're right at the top of my gums and they're painful to touch and it hurts to eat and sometimes drink...I just had a cavity filled on my molar back there a few days ago so could that cause them? What are they?

I auditioned for a musical this morning...everything was fine I just had the jitters like everyone usually does. When I had to sing though I got all freaked out and started spitting out everything wrong with my song and my voice and all that...the teacher was really understanding and nice though so she's not the problem...my CD didn't work so I had to sing a cappella...I was so nervous...! Afterwards the teacher was saying "You have a good voice don't let anyone tell you you can't sing...have confidence" and all that stuff and I just started getting emotional and crying like right there!!!!! I was extremely embarrassed and I said "Sorry I can get like really emotional." Anyways I just wanted to go home after that but it was before school so I spent the rest of the day thinking about how bad it was...I don't even know why I was crying?! Sometimes I get emotional when people say nice stuff like in the movies...but I'm really pissed at myself now since I did that...how can I get over this and avoid it in the future? I just had like a breakdown right there is was so humiliating because it was in front of the teacher and like 4 other people who were trying out...they were sophmores and I was the stupid freshman so yea...this day is probably gonna haunt me now...

I'm in ninth grade...I have a decent enough voice but I don't know if I should audition for this musical...we're doing Ruthless. What's it about? If you've ever seen it then please write a review and stuff. Plus say I was auditioning for the lead, what song should I sing? Thanks :)

How much are they and what do they include? I don't ABSOLUTELY HAVE to meet the boys, I would just be grateful for tickets to their concert at a decent spot for a reasonable price. I was looking up floor seat prices and one website said that they would be $1,300 EACH. What does the VIP thing include, how much is it, and was that^ true? Please help, I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go be in the front row and for Liam to take my phone like on Youtube!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not a very good singer, but in school this year we're doing A Midsummer Nights Dream, which has no singing, and I was thinking of trying out, if freshman are allowed. I was in Grease last year as Ms. Lynch and I didn't have to sing, but my dad said I played the part very well, and he would tell me if I was bad. But my real question is, do freshman ever get casted? Does the teacher discrimminate against them because they're only ninth graders? Are freshman at your school even allowed to try out? Thanks in advance!

I'm 14, I got my period in April, and I've used pads since then. But now I wanna try tampons...pads are getting to be really annoying and I'm starting school tomorrow, so I don't want to feel like I'm wearing a diaper all day. My mom's picking up the smallest size tampons she can find, I'm going to practice tonight to prepare for tomorrow. If this works, I'm going to wear pads at night so I don't leave the tampon in for too long during the night. So how should I insert the tampon? Links would be helpful too! Does it hurt to insert it? And how long should tampons be in for? Thanks in advance!

I wish I was as pretty as the popular girls and stuff...they all have guys that like them and no one ever likes me and they have tons of friends and go out and do stuff together and I only hang out with a couple of people. Girls tell me I'm pretty but no guy has ever told me that...And please no one tell me I'm not confident and have low self esteem and stuff because I do have confidence and high self esteem-I think I am very smart and have acting skills, in fact I'm doing Pre-IB-I just wish I was prettier...society nowadays is so judgemental and I'm going to be a freshman, I don't want to come off as this ugly girl and have no friends and stuff. And please no one tell me I'm looking for attention because I seriously am not. I just feel so ugly compared to the popular girls and stuff, and I need a second opinion. Please no hate answers!

School starts on Monday and I'm gonna be a freshman! I'm going to a school where there are like no hallways...you walk outside the classroom and you're outside! There are little groups of classrooms connected together by sidewalks...the map is a bit confusing...I know not to ask anyone where anything is because they'll lie and send me the wrong way! How can I survive? I'm doing IB, it's a really advanced program, and I don't know if I'm ready for this! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I recently went on vacation to Massachussetts and my legs and feet are all bitten up! It's so unattractive I have scars/scabs from scratching all over my feet and legs! How can I get rid of these FAST? School starts in a week and I really don't want to have gross scabs and scars all over my legs! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Hello. I'm really worried for November because of the presidential election. My dad said if Obama wins, I'd better not talk to him for a while because he'll be really depressed and stuff, and I don't want that to happen! I'm scared! And I can't vote either; I'm only 14! What should I do if Obama wins?! Btw, this is 100% SERIOUS!!!!!!!!!

My dog, Keaton, is a chihuahua mix. He's a year old. Lately he's been throwing up a lot. We know the reason he's throwing up is because he keeps eating weeds and grass outside, which always makes our dogs regurgitate the contents of their stomach. But why is he eating the grass? Do you think he's eating it because his stomach is upset? Or does he just like the taste of it? He eats it LITERALLY EVERY TIME he goes outside. We try to keep him away from it, but sometimes we can't help it. We can't really afford to take him to the vet right now because money is tight, we just spent like $200 on our other dog! What do you suggest I do in this situation? Keaton hasn't gotten any table food in a couple of days. He eats Purina One Lamb and Rice formula, but so does my other dog and he's fine.

Hey everyone! Okay so I am a 14 year old girl. I'm kind of worried about my dad. So basically, he works until like 6:00 at night, gets home at 6:30, eats dinner, gets in his pajamas at 7:00, and that's basically it for the night. He'll go on the computer to check his emails and then he'll do bills, then he'll just sit and watch TV for like 2 hours and go to bed. This is the thing 5 days a week. On Sundays he'll do stuff with me, on Saturday's he and I will go grocery shopping in the afternoon but then he comes home and watches more TV. He works everyday, he has two jobs to support my mom (who also has a job) and I and our 3 dogs. I just want him to get involved in something, or at least get out more during the week. The weekends don't really bother me. My mom thinks he should do more around the house, like more vaccuuming and cleaning. And he does sometimes, but I guess he should do a little more? Like he says he'll do these things and he doesn't...but that's not the biggest issue. I just want to do more activities with him, and I think he and my mom should spend more time together. I'll be out of the house in a few years and I want him to do more than watch TV, and I want my mom to do more than work and clean all day. So what do you suggest in this situation? Publix doesn't close until 10 at night, and it opens at 7 in the morning, so that's out. Before 7 and after 10 it's dark. Walmart is open 24 hours. The school parking lots have gates in front of them. I could try our pool parking lot, because it's closed on Monday for chemical treatment, but it's a little small so that's a last resort. I would try the bank on Sundays or after they close at 2, but there's an ATM so a car could pull up at any time...

So what do you suggest? Please I really want to practice driving!

I just wanna know what my dad can do during the weekends. He and I hang out usually on Sundays, but he doesn't really like his job and he's trying to find a new one. I think he just needs to enjoy life more. Are there any clubs and stuff he can join? He's 59, but he's in really good shape. He'll do the occasional vacuuming and stuff, but a lot of the times he will come home, go on the computer, do bills, and watch TV. He plays board games with me and stuff but I wish there was just more for him to do in his life, ya know? He just needs to be more social and have some friends. I just want him to be happy. Ok he really just wants another job, we need the money. He's married! He's interested in sports like baseball, basketball and golf, but I'm not really the athletic type. Please I'm desperate. I got good answers before but I need more good ones too. I really love my dad and I want him to have a fuller, better life. Thanks in advance :)

Last night I dreamed that I was in a huge ant colony, and the ants were the same size as me! Three other people were with me: my best friend, my former crush, and a girl that I know but don't really talk to, kind of an aquaintance. So the ants thought I was their queen, and that the acquaitance was their secretary of state, or something like that. Some announcer called the four of us to walk up this path to a stage so me and the acquaintance could deliver a speech. So my former crush puts his arm around me, and lead me up the path. He kept it there while I made my speech, and then when the "secretary of state" was about to make hers, he put his other hand on my mouth and said, "now don't criticize her supporters", meaning don't say anything rude to the ants or something...I don't know, it was a really weird dream. What do you think it means?
