How do I add totals from receipts in one list box to another? I'm trying to grab the totals from values and print the sum in another list box. I need a quick answer with code that can help. Thanks.

I have two problems that I need help with:

1) In the right list box, I need help with code that will display all totals from the left list box. So, if I printed two receipts on the left list box, I need both totals added in the right list box.

2) For some reason, I cant apply a discount (8 percent) to the final price. The list box displays the discount amount, but wont take it off from the total.

If you can, please take my code and add yours and point out with explanation on what you did. It's a simple program for most out there, I'm just new at it.Thanks in advanced!

I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box, but I work extremely hard at all that I do. My goal is to obtain a degree in comp/ele engineering, but it seems as if it's something that comes more natural to others (geeks, nerds, w/e). In the past I didn't give all my efforts to school (same degree) because I was young and dumb, despite having said I work hard, and had more of a focus in video games. I had to drop out and come back after a great deal of time. Now, I'm struggling, but because it's been so long since I've last been in school and I'm looking at repeating past classes to get caught back up such as math (haven't taken many classes for my degree).

I want this so bad for myself and my future goals and am willing to do anything to achieve this goal. My parents tell me that it's not in my genetics to accomplish such a feat, but I'm arrogant and want this for myself despite my ability. Again, all these concepts in these classes come much easier to my friends, but I have to work a whole lot harder to grasp the same concepts. So I ask, if I carry on this goal of mine, is the probability that I will succeed existent or is this all a lost cause. I don't like to fail, and I know many others are there with me. I'm just one of those people that doesn't know when to give up. :P Should I give up and seek another degree? Thanks for the input.

I don't see how it could be. I'm having an extremely hard time believing the dealer when they just want to negotiate a max of $200-300 off. I don't care what resources tell us, who pays that close to sticker at such a high dollar amount?

I can only imagine that dealers get good deals from trade-ins and auctions, I can't see it being an offer they'd entirely turn down. If my offer isn't a good one, what should how should I change it to make it acceptable? It would be nice to get a dealer's perspective as well. Thanks.

Ive found a private seller that lives 1200 miles away that has offered $15,500 and my budget is realistically around 12000, I can do a bit more via your opinions. The car has 81,000 miles on it and is a 2009 model. Assuming it was in good shape and drove well, do you think my offer is fair or should be adjusted? Kbb.com says $14,500 would be the recommended price to sell/buy at, again assuming it were in good condition. There's plenty cars to look at out there, just looking for an opinion before I move on. What is the possibility that I can go to a dealer and get them to mark the car down from, let's say, an asking price of 18,000 down to 12,000 if paying with full cash? This is my budget.
