what im looking for is something under $1000. it doesnt need to be a gaming machine, but it should have a big enough screen (15 inches) and with enough power to run photoshop and office and browse the web all at the same time.

spybot sd, now at version 1.6, got terrible reviews from pc magazine, a publication i trust, as did spyware terminator 2.0. i dont know of any other free programs aside from windows defender, also terrible, that provide realtime protection.

both macs are intel core 2 duo, which isnt a problem. isnce these are install disks, i assume that the disk must be wiped to install leopard using these disks. am i right. is there a better way to use these install disks on a computer that does not have leopard?
