  • My router is blocking a website?

Up until three or four weeks ago, I was able to access a certain website (www.ogeecheetech.edu), but now I can't. I have two computers on my home network and I use a Linksys router. When I connect my modem directly to my computer, I can access it, but as long as I have the modem connected to my router, I can't access the website. I've tried adjusting the MTU settings (as low as 1400), but that doesn't help. I've also updated the firmware. Is there some other router setting I can adjust so that I can access that website?

  • How do I contact google?

I'm doing a team project for a college Security & Ethics class. I need to contact Google so that I can obtain permission to perform a security audit on the company. I've looked at Google's Help page, but I don't see a general questions type email address or contact information. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Google?

  • What are my rights as a website designer?

I designed a website for a client. I sent him the invoice, but after going 3 or 4 weeks without hearing from him, I decided to take the site offline until I got paid. Instead of paying me, he treatened to have me thrown in jail for taking the site offline. I finally got paid after taking him to court, but he's still treatening to sue me. Although the domain name is his, isn't the content legally mine until I get paid?

  • Can I be sued for taking a website down?

I had a client who owes me close to $400 for a website I designed for them. I didn't make them sign a contract, but we had a verbal agreement that payment would be due at the end of the month for any work I did for them. Because it's been two and a half weeks since the end of last month and they haven't paid me yet, I took the website offline until they do pay me. They're now threatening to sue me. What are my rights and who is in the right?

  • Our 11 month year old female dog has been whining all the time for the past few days. Could she be in heat?

She carries her toy "babies" from one room to another and acts like she doesn't want to leave them.

  • Address bar search adding numbers to my search query?

When I type a search term in the address bar on my laptop, Yahoo adds "394102" to what I typed in the results. For instance, if I type, "cars" in the address bar, the result comes back as "cars394102" on the search page. I don't have this problem on my desktop; it's only on my laptop. I'm running Windows 7 and IE 8. Yahoo is my search provider. Can anyone tell me how to correct this problem so that Yahoo doesn't add those numbers to my search query?

  • Where can I find this background to use on my Website?

I like the background in the Hard Rock Live website's footer (the bottom). I tried to save it to my computer and use it, but it doesn't look the same as the Hard Rock's website. The link is http://www.hardrock.com/live2/live.asp. It's the black pattern background. Where can I find the original background?
