things that I find that I can not do such as the following:

1)In the old one,I created some personal folders where I saved the best question and answers I see. I do not see those folders now nor do I know how to save anything.

2)How do I find out if my question has been chosen as the best answer.

3)Where is the spell check

4)How do I know which questions are in voting

5)How do you know when somebody has made you a contact and how do you accept or reject the invitation.

6)How do you read a comment or make one

7)What does reference mean?What does followers mean? what does being followed mean?

8)In the old one program when you clicked on the q&a tab,you are given all of the questions and answers on the list for you.Now I do not know what questions have been asked or the answers given regardless of the category.Plus when you answer a question ,you get a list of questions at the bottom for you to choose from and answer. Now you have to go back and forth to do this.Any one got a better idea.

page poses more questions than it purports to answer;the so-called tutorial is so confusing ,blurred,and so fast that it is useless. I answered some questions that I could not submit as I could not find a submit button. I am hoping some one out there understands the new page and can answer the following questions:

1) How do you submit questions that you have answered .

2)How to find questions that need answers.

3)How do I find my answers incase I want to edit it.

4)How do I choose a best answer

5)How do I tell how many points I have for the day or week.

6)How do I tell or see questions that have been submitted for voting and then vote for the best answer that I choose

7)How do I change my profile and/or avatar.

8)What does the followers and followed or whatever it is mean;where are all of my contacts.

9)How do I ask questions as the form acts like a search engine

I am sure that there are a lot more questions out there that other readers have identified for which answers are sought. I would appreciate any help,clarity,or direction that anyone can offer.Sometimes, Yahoo has to understand that they do not have to re-invent the wheel.If they do decide to do it,they should make sure that it is indeed better,they should remember the disaster when Coca Cola tried to change the classical coke and were forced to go back when they started to lose customers. Yahoo should do the same thing.

computer with Windows XP ,SP3.Of recent ,I have started to have the following issues:

1)It is now very slow to respond and freezes frequently.Even IE8 and programs also freeze.I have scanned for viruses,root kits,,malwares, key-loggers,and so on using Avast PRO,Malwarebytes PRO,Spyware blaster,SuperAnti Spyware PRO,Kaspersky TDSSkiller,and others .Each of them said my computer was clean and had no infection.

2)When I click on a program either from the system tray or the start menu or the icons on the desk top,it takes a while for it to boot.

3)Internet explorer 8 which is what I am using,also freezes and when I close it,internet explorer 8 comes on to ask to send an error report to Microsoft telling them about IE* not responding.I can not get a higher version of internet explorer since I am still using Windows XP.

4)I clean my browsers on regular intervals to get rid of all of the junk .The cursor and /or pointer will occasionally start to move on its own without any help from me or me touching it.

5) I sometimes have to shut down my computer by using the power button instead of the normal way.

6)I have a 1.50 ghz processor.

I hope one or more of you who are well versed with the workings of a computer will be able to give me the reasons for all of my problems and give me step by step answers and instructions on what to do to take care of my problem.I thank you in anticipation of your help.

I asked this question about a year ago and I guess someone recognized themselves in the article and did not feel good or got angry because they reported me.Yet I still notice the same thing going on .To test and confirm my theory and suspicions,I wrote a phrase to see what would happen.Sure enough,someone used it without any credit.I decided to try a different phrase again to see what would happen,and -you guessed it-it was plagiarized without any credit.I suppose that they consider it a sort of flattery and in a way it is;however,an occasional credit would have been nice and appreciated.When you consider the fact that if this were a school project or assignment and they did something like this,not only would they get an "F" but they may even get suspended or worse expelled.In addition,I also notice quite a lot of people who ask questions but do not take the time or trouble to read ,respond,or pick one of the many responses they get from the people who want to help them with their issues.I thought they were looking for help and in a lot of cases ,they claim it is an emergency.Would it not be a nice gesture to read the answers from the people who have taken the time and trouble to read and respond to your problem and try to help you I would like to know what other readers of this forum think about the two issues and points I just made ,if it has ever happened to you,and how you feel about it. Please respond if you have comments to make even if none of it has directly happened to you. Your honest,direct,specific,and to the point comments would be appreciated and maybe help everyone who likes and enjoys this forum to learn something and try to make it a better site for everyone. After all,those who read and answer questions must have a genuine interest in helping others and not for the ten points which actually have no value outside except on Yahoo Answers.

have not seen my avatar on my mail anymore. I tried edit,and everything to no avail. I even tried uninstalling and installing Yahoo toolbar again to see if that would resolve the issue with no luck. Does anyone know what is going on?Is Yahoo still working on Yahoo answers or is this a glitch in the system?Why is it that any time Yahoo say that they are improving something,they create a lot more problems;is it that they are beginning to take us for granted?If so they should remember that pride goes before a fall. Does anyone have an idea of what is happening and when it would be resolved?

1)Microsoft has installed so many programs that one does not know their purpose or function.How do I know what they do and if they are important or relevant In addition system 32 seems to have increased my scanning time for I can see it moving very slowly-can I fix this . 2)I have Driver max to install my new drivers.how do I install them safely and determine which version to install (Driver Max gives you so many choices of manufacturers and versions) ----I installed one for my mouse and it stopped working and I had to use system restore to get it back. 3)I can not back up my data to a CD using the backup utility of windows XPRO, always takes me to the floppy disk drive of my computer rather than to my CD drive.How do I correct this problem 4)How do I un-compress the files that I had compressed using Windows disk clean up utility and also view the compressed files.If you know the answers, please give me detailed information/directions. From the minute iturn on my computer,the hour glass becomes wedded to the pointer and will not leave its side through every click It goes where ever the pointer goes and I"M sure slows my computer if not worse..How do i divorce them?.the second question is-do I have to leave my computer on fora scan scheduled for1 in the morning.Will the scan occur if my computer was turned off.the third issue is :what free download is out there which will not only scan but eliminate viruses, spyware, adware, worms, trojans etc.

I currently use the product of a well known (ISP) to conduct the scan and they tell me my security status is excellent.My ram is high and I have plenty of hard drive space.Sometimes, I have had to abort the scan because it was taking too long to conclude.
