I ♥ Country Music

I have a Epiphone by Gibson Hummingbird Cherry Sunburst acoustic guitar and a Blue Fender Strat.

I was looking for another guitar, acoustic-electric, for Christmas. Around a $500 price and preferably a black one. Any ideas on what I should get? Also, be sure the one you suggest has the fret dots on every odd-numbered fret (except for the 2-dotted 12th fret and 11 and 13 lol) or its okay if it doesn't have a dot on the first fret. (The reason why I ask this is simply because I don't like the ones without the dots).

PS. don't answer saying 'go to your local guitar store and try them out' because first of all, the nearest guitar store is 45 minutes away and I want to have some brands and models in mind before I go try them out.

I love playing guitar, especially country music.

I have 3 guitars currently (I get them in this order)

1) the one my mom got me to start off with-the cheapest she could find- it is a mexican classical acoustic guitar $130

2) epiphone hummingbird acoustic guitar $350

3) standard fender stratocaster electric guitar $450.

I might ask for another guitar for Christmas. If I do, which guitar should I get? Electric or acoustic or even electric acoustic? Please give more than one option in your answers. :)

P.S. Is a telecaster worth spending that much money on when I already have a strat that can do most of the stuff a tele can?

I was looking around on the internet for an electric guitar I could ask my parents for for Christmas. I really like country music so I wanted a country-sounding guitar so I was gonna go with a telecaster, but when I went into a guitar store to try out some guitars, the strats felt so much better to play. There are so many types though!

First of all, I want one that works really well with country music.

Second, price isn't a factor...kinda. It's my only Christmas present. I don't want a cheap squier, but my parents for sure wont get me a $1,600 guitar! So obviously, I can't do anything over $700 or so, about. Somewhere $700 or lower.

Lastly, this is my first electric guitar. I have been playing acoustic for about 1 year and 2 months. My very first guitar was very cheap and I begged my parents for a better one, I got that better one that I wanted for Christmas last year. So my point here is, I want to go get the best guitar there is (within a certain price range) so that I don't have to go buy a better quality one next year as I get better at guitar.

Money isn't really a problem, just which ever one plays the best and can do more. (P.S. I love country music so which one sounds more country or can be changed to sound more country?)

I was sitting in the kitchen and a deer came up to our garden and started eating our plants. I joked to my mom saying "I wish I had my bow right now" and she said, "you could shoot him if you did have it". Is this legal to shoot a deer eating your plants in your backyard? Does it have to be in season? I live in a town, not a city. My backyard is actually a huge woods with a creek and stuff so it's not like I would have to worry about the neighbors. Oh and also, I don't have a hunting license because I am not old enough but I do have all the certificates needed to legally hunt.

They have one (not the exact version Luke wears, but close enough) on buckcommander.com but its out of stock and has been out for a while. It may not come back in stock by the time I need it (July 27th when I'm getting Luke to sign it). Where else could I get it? or do you know when buckcommander.com will have it back in stock? I have no money because I recently spent my $700 I saved up on a bow. I was originally going to buy a nice Fender Telecaster for $500 and a good amp but I changed my mind and bought a bow instead.

So basically, now, I'm broke and the next big thing I'm saving up for is an electric guitar: a telecaster.

I was just wondering, should I save up for a $500 Fender telecaster or just go with the much cheaper Squier telecaster for $179? Are they that different? Is it worth all that extra money for the Fender?

P.S. I am only 13, so it's not like I have a job. I only get $15 allowance money per week so $500 is a lot to me. But if the quality of the Fender is really that much better, then I'll get it. I want both cheap and good quality. :P

Oh and also, I want a telecaster because they are the most country-sounding electric guitar and I love country. :)

For Mother's Day, I'm throwing my mom a little concert because I am usually real shy so I don't sing or play in front of them. I am doing a lot of originals but I also wanted to throw in some covers, so I need suggestions of good country songs to sing for her. :)

I got my bow a few months ago. It's a Matthews Mission Craze and I got a 4 pin tru glo sight. It was set up right until I decided to tweak it, but I ended up making it worse. Now, I have to re-do all my sights. I don't even know how far each sight should be!! I am just target practicing now from usually about 30 yards. What distance should I set the top pin at? And the next one? etc... Thanks so much. :)

I am from North Carolina. We are the perfect mix between southern and northern at the school I go to. For some reason, my class loves to talk about words we say differently and which way is more right that the other. I know it sounds stupid, but it's actually very fun and entertaining.

So far we have different pronunciations on words such as: caramel, legs, apricot, neither, genuine, cement, lawyer and can't. We would appreciate if yall could give us some more words that are said different from the north vs. south because we love to debate about them! haha, thanks. God bless! :)

When I first got my bow, it was set on 30 pounds and I tightened the draw weight 1 full turn. So now what is the weight? about 35? I'm just wondering; its not hard to pull back or anything. And also, how many turns would I need to do to get to 50 pounds? (even though the minimum weight is 35 pounds, I'm trying to get to 50 before hunting season).

I just got a Mathews Mission Menace bow. I'm 13 and my draw length is like 25 and draw weight is about 45 lbs, at least that is what the guy at the archery store said. I just got it and I'm not sure what type of arrows to buy for it. What would be the best? (yeah, carbon but what exact arrows should I buy?)

I spent all my money on a bow (I got a Mission Menace because this is my first bow even though I wanted the Mission Craze) and I only have $120 dollars left. Arrows cost about $50 so I only have about $70 left for a target. I don't want one of those deer targets because of the cost, but I also don't want to be told to buy like a hay thing or something because I don't live on a farm and idk where to get one. I want a pretty big, good quality target for less than around $70. Any other info would be great too. Thanks. God bless. :)

I just found out that Luke Bryan, the hottest and best singer in the world was on a TV show with Jason Aldean on the Outdoor Channel called Buck Commander!! Since I love Luke, I wanted to watch it ASAP!! But they don't air it anymore and I can't find full episodes online. Can someone help me? Ok so I spend tons of my free time playing guitar and writing songs and I've heard I'm pretty good at it but I'm not too good of a singer. I was wondering if I could submit my songs somehow to record companies so I could get noticed, not as a singer, but as a songwriter and guitarist. What is the best ways to get my lyrics, tabs and music sheets and stuff to get noticed by real country music record companies/labels? (I want to get into the music stuff at a young age (I'm 13) so that I could begin my dreams as a professional songwriter / guitarist / music/record producer.) Thanks. No hate! God bless! :)

I live in a town with like 15,000 people and was wondering if it is okay for me to shoot a normal compound bow in my backyard. I'm not sure how big my backyard is but we live with a big woods behind our house and all I know is that we have a few acres of land.

ok so if yall havent noticed, i have been asking lots of questions about bows recently because I want to get my first one. I want to get a Bear Apprentice 2. I was wondering if yall thought this is a good bow for me. It's a 20-60 pound draw weight and 15"- 27" draw length. I'm 13 and am fully grown (I am already taller than both my older sisters and statistics show that I'm done growing so don't argue with that. haha) so is this a good bow for my size and if not, any other options? Is it even a good bow at all? (the reviews say its real good)

P.S. I would be deer hunting with it eventually so it needs to be good enough quality for that.

P.P.S. That one I want is $279.99 and I have nearly $500 saved up.
