  • How do you get headshots in MGO while running at full speed?

I see this happen with alot of lvl 7's and above (esp. the 9's) where they'll be running, I see them, and the raise their rifle and *BAM*, I'm down, headshot. And these guys are STILL RUNNING and I barely even see them before it's over, I don't even think it was more than a round. wth.

Please give me an answer as to how this being done besides, "GIT GUD" b/c that doesn't help me or anybody else who has to deal with this.

Narc? AR3? Runner 3 + AR1? AR2 + Mk17 or XM8? What's the extra step I'm missing out of controller movement? I already sweep back and forth as standard per any FPS (but much shorter and faster), that seems to have helped slightly.

  • wine, not refrigerated...what happens to it?

My gf used a bottle of white wine for making risotto about a month ago. The bottle has been sitting outside on the counter since that time. What has happened to the wine? Is it drinkable or consumable at this point, or should I just throw it out (what a tragic waste in that case...)?

  • Buying question regarding HP 50g calculator?

Back in the late 90's (now please, correct me if I'm wrong), I took a friend's 48g or whatever was available at that time and tried doing a triple matrix multiplication. I wanted to be able to (1) enter in a 6x3, a 3x3, let's call them B and k and (2) be able to immediately calculate Tranpose(B) * k * B and assign that result to a new variable, K. In other words, K = Transpose (B) * k * B

As far as I could tell, you could do a matrix multiplicaton on the HP but I could not figure out how to do the variable assignments, nor could the owner.

This is one thing that TI were awesome at...usability. Doing the above was a walk in the park and took no more than 5 minutes to figure out, with it easy interface.

However, the TI build quality I've never liked, it's shoddy at best...hate the buttons.

Is the 50g easier to use? How do I do the same thing I did on the TI on the 50g now, if it's indeed possible? How do I assign a matrix to a letter variable, and be able to recall it?

  • Can I deduct money lost in a rental contract off of my 2008 income taxes?

I was googling and saw this article's question:

"I loaned money to a friend to start a business, but he went bankrupt. Can I deduct the loss?"

    http://moneycentral.msn.com/quickref/quickref.asp?...

My short version is that I was in a rental contract where I advanced my "landlord" (he actually turned out to be a tenant illegally subletting a house) a good sum of money including last months' rent and a security deposit, as well as 2 more months of rent. I eventually had to take him to court, and won, b/c he violated the terms of the rental contract, but I have thus far been unable to collect on the court ruling. I have gone so far as to send a collection agency after him to no avail. So my question is, can I deduct this from my 2008 taxes, and if so, what forms do I need to fill out? I thought it was the IRS 4684 form, and the article does seem to suggest a possible solution as a "contract" but I'm not sure what forms I need.

  • silly psp questions...?

    1) You can use a mini-USB cable to charge the PSP instead of the big brick that Sony packages into the box?

I'd forgotten to folow up on that question until it got mentioned on this video blogcast:

    http://www.pspfanboy.com/2007/11/04/webcaster-shoc...

    2) Why isn't the US version of the PSP getting the GPS or TV tuner add-on? When the PSP was first announced, it sounded like it was going to get a bunch of these fun (albeit costly) add-ons.

    3) What firmware do I need to downgrade to in order to play disc ISO's or homebrew? I have one of the original units still.

there must be a change, somehow

there are bad times and good times too

so have a little faith in what you do

  • black xbox 360 wireless headset?

As of 10/29/07, has there ever been in existence, in a store, a xbox 360 wireless headset that is black?

I would've sworn I'd seen this at Target before...just wondering if I'm going insane or not.

So I was baffled when searching all over online, as to why this black headset was sold out. =D That would make sense if it didn't even exist!

  • Why is the 360 a better platform to use to demonstrate a game, vs a ps3?

    In a recent interview:

    http://ps3.ign.com/articles/829/829071p2.html

    ---------------------------

IGN AU: The PS3 version used to be the 'lead' format, but mainly the 360 build has been shown publicly. Why is this?

    Patrice Desilets: Because it's easier…

    IGN AU: Can you explain?

Patrice Desilets: It's easier to show it on 360 in general. But even with that, I don't want to go down that avenue. [laughs] I've said some stuff and I've gotten yelled at! Now, I don't want to talk about the technical [side]; I don't want to be part of the war! Personally, I don't design around a machine and it's something that takes place elsewhere. It's business and technology and I'm the guy in the middle of that.

    ------------------------------------

Not that it affects people as consumers, but I'm kind of curious as to what specifically Patrice is referring to when saying that one platform is better than the other for demonstrations.

  • Does anybody know where I might be able to buy the AO edition of Manhunt 2 on the wii?

    After reading this preview

    http://psp.ign.com/articles/819/819477p2.html

I would really prefer to get the unedited, uncensored version that will be released in the Netherlands. The original Manhunt didn't have anything blurred out, neither should this one.

Can somebody refer to what website I should make the pre-order at?

Even if I do manage to magically get such an AO-rated game, does the wii require a mod in order to play the disk, or will the disk be region-free?

I guess I have some research cut out to do....^_^

But if you have these answers, I'd appreciate them, thanks.

  • Severance can be denied if an employee refuses to accept a replacement position at the same company?

OK..right now my company is going through layoffs. The WARN act has been activated (we have 60 days to find a new job internally before the layoff actually becomes concrete).

Is it standard practice for a company to waive that employee's severance if that employee refuses an internal job offer? Like for instance, let's say the manager finds the employee a job, but the employee doesn't want to take it b/c he knows it is something that will be depressingly boring, stressful, will be stuck with people that person detests, etc etc.

To me, that's like being railroaded out of the company. "You will let us ram this job down your throat or you will leave" is the message that seems to be communicated. =(

I have also heard however that the HR manager may be willing to waive that requirement so that employees and still have one last chance to pick and choose. Nothing for certain yet, only a rumor.
