Cake from cooking show from years ago.?
Okay, I don't remember the host.... Other than it was a male. But basically he made a layer cake, with thin layers. Then cut the center out (think upside down cone), removed it, flipped the (doughnut) that he made, then added the cone back in to create a cool effect when the cake was sliced.
Anyone know what I'm talking about? I tried google without luck, well... With everything I could think of. Starting to think its all in my head. Thanks in advance.
1 AnswerCooking & Recipes8 years agoMoon Colony tv-movie? tv show?
Okay, it's sort of a fleeting memory... but it's one of those that's driving me crazy so I'm trying to figure out what movie/show it is... and see if I can find it on NetFlix/Hulu/Etc....
I remember it was about a moon colony (maybe martian, but I swear moon)..... there was a solar flare that was heading towards it. Kids were playing in some storage area, jumping really high due to the lower gravity. Couldn't get to a radiation shelter in time so they took shelter under some water tanks. Yadda...yadda.... all said and done, it rained in the atrium towards the end or right after the solar flare passed.
I tried looking everywhere I could for sci-fi show/movie listings and can't come up with anything. Anyone out there know what I'm talking about? I want to say this was late 80's....early to mid 90's maybe?
2 AnswersMovies9 years agoSci-fi 'computer networking' scene, Battlestar Galactica?
Ok.... I don't remember what movie I saw this in, but it's driving me wonkers....
All I remember about the scene, was something about 'networking' the computers to calculate something faster. The set was very 'Battlestar Galactica', the computer panel lifted upwards (kinda like a grill lid), and the connected the different computers together with what looked to be huge token ring like connectors. While the computer was doing it's thing there was concern over the enemy/aliens/etc.... breaking through the firewalls of the now fully intergrated computer network.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Where is this from?
Many thanks in advance.
