Carter had -6.7% wage growth during his four years with unemployment near 9% on Election Day

1981 Min wage $3.35 would be $8.33 today. Average wage for non-college American $13,773.00 would be $34,900 in today’s dollars.

1989 Min wage $3.35 would be $6.10 today. Average wage for non-college American $20,995.00 would be $38,399.55 in today’s dollars.

Reagan had 9.2% wage growth for blue collar workers during his terms. Unemployment 6.1% for terms.

1992 min wage$4.25 would be $6.84 today. Average wage for non-college American $22,935.00 would be $36,932.00 in today’s dollars

Poppy Bush had -4.6% wage growth and lost re-election bid with 7.4% unemployment.

Clinton well we all know how well the economy was in the 1990s with 10%+ wage growth and full employment economy. W Bush was a letdown after Clinton with only 5% wage growth and average unemployment rate of 5.6%. He barely won his re-election over Economics.

Now enter Obama: average American blue collar wage 41,334.97 on day he was elected. Fell 2% in 2009 and another 4% in 2010 to just below $38,000 per year. Average unemployment rate is over 9% and the concept of discouraged workers did not exist in Carter’s time because all were counted in labor stats. We moved to using the stat fudging concept in 1991. How does Barry win?

I used glass cleaner to to clean the screen. Now it black when I turn it on but you can still see it works. It is just not illuminated like before. Anyone know how to fix this without taking it to a repair place? Thanks in advance

I got 3 and was wondering if you can name some more with dollar amounts and locations.

1. Pawtucket, RI $550,000 for a skateboard park at a local school. City laid off over 40 workers and is operating on a $10 million a year budget deficit for schools and municipal operations!

2. Union Town, NY received $578,661 in stimulus money to build a homeless shelter. The city didn't ask for it and has no homeless people the mayor or city council are aware of. Altoona got the same grant and are puzzled as to why. That town in PA does have a homeless population but find shelter for them via HUD already. Altoona got $819,000 and the city has said they don't have enough homeless people to spend the funds on.

3. MO is spending 6 million stimulus dollars on defraying the cost of feed for it's fish farmers!! Hello these guys don't employ anyone and turn huge profits farming catfish. Why should the American tax payer pay for the feed for the fish farms. Will we get paid back when the harvest and profits made. NO!
