I have just entered 9th grade, taking one AP class. i have a lot of work to do, so i wont be able to go on vacation over break, because i have to study for finals. my sisters are mad about this and think i am a isolating myself from them. what should i do?

I have to dress Business Formal, and i don't have a Suit jacket. I have a skirt hat is almost knee length, and i going to wear a button down blouse with it. do i have to tuck in the blouse? I have a suit jacket, but it is a 3 quarter sleeve so..

I am trying to pick between an AP psychology class, that basically everyone takes because it is easy and you get college credit.

But i also wanted to take anatomy and physiology, because i am leaning towards having my career in the medical field.

AP psych is medical related, but everyone takes it so it kinda ruins the purpose.

So is college credit more important?

I was wondering what types of Clubs they give out. I was interested in if they had an Art Club, or something of the sort. I would hope they have because I love art and it just de-stresses me, in a way. =)

Also, what types of Sports do they offer?

Are all the Clubs Math or Science related? Is there many clubs at all, because I went onto their website, and there wasn't any expressing interests...

Also, How do you think It would look on a College Application if I went to IMSA for a semester and went back to my Public HS? I am not sure if i want to go there, but I want to try it out.

I am considering becoming a Doctor when I grow up, and I don't exactly embrace Math, though it isn't half that bad.. but I do have an interest in various types of sciences, especially organic Chemistry, Which I know is involved in the medical field.

Can I hear form People who have gone to IMSA or have had Children who have gone to IMSA answer? Thanks!

I got accepted into IMSA, and I think it is a good opportunity, but would it be hell for me if I don't even like Math in the first place that much? I do like Science, but Math.... not so much.

I was thinking I should just take Spanish up until Spanish 4 in my Junior year, and I am a Freshman in Spanish 2. Do you think I would need another year to get into a higher level college, like a university or Ivy League?

I like a lot of clubs, but I know I have to limit myself,so I can focus on studies as well.

I want to be a Doctor and get into the Ivy League, and I am going to be a Freshman.

I already do dance( this is my last year) outside of school for 8 years,and I have to save a lot of time for my dance practices too. How do you recognize that i joined and danced for 8 years on my college application?

Also, do you have to be the leader of a club? I don't have very good leading skills and I am usually the shy quiet kid in the back... I don't have much public speaking skills as well... :/

Where do you find volunteer work? I wanted to volunteer somewhere, but i didn't know how to..

Medical Careers Club - Explains each career in the medical field, which is what I want to join.

Student Council- Shows I am part of community, but is it better to volunteer in the community or join Student Council?

Scholastic Bowl (Academic Bowl) - Because it involves teamwork,and is academic.

Either Swimming or Track- I have started going to swimming practices and I really SUCK. I was thinking I should just join something I am good at , like long jump in track, or running.

Also, what is JV and Varsity?

If you have a family, you care about them more than you do about yourself, is that correct?

I don't know about you guys, but that is kind of what I do. I never put myself first, my sisters and my mom come before me in my mind.

my sister, on the other hand... She always makes sure she is fine first and then worries about us. In normal everyday things, she is oblivious to get things for everybody in the family, not just herself.

it makes me soo mad that she does this, and i try to put myself first when dealing with her, but i just end up failing.

This also makes me realize that i am going to be crushed like a bug in the real world, if this keeps up. People will take advantage of my softness and kindness and walk all over me. i have gotta learn to get clever like my selfish sister, but what should i do about the problem involving her??
