  • Can a doctor verify if my prescription has been filled?

    I have asked my doctor to to prescribe me Ratalin for my ADHD a week ago, but after a short (and shallow at best) research online I have reconisidered that taking Atomoxetine might be a safer alternative. Shortly after doing the research I, without foresight, hastey discarded the unused prescription. I want to visit my doctor in the next few days but don't want the doctor to think that I am a junkie, is there a way for the doctor to verify if my prescription (the one that he filled out) has been used? If it makes any difference, my doctor practices in NY.
