  • Does posting questions asking for sources for illegal book downloads qualify as a TOS violation?

In the Books and Authors section, we get a lot of questions from young teenagers looking for X book online for free. When we tell them that the book is not available to legally download for free, and to try their local library, they often get angry at us and say they don't care they are breaking the law (and give a list of excuses as to why they can't buy the book or check it out from a library).

I would like to report those questions, since to me, asking about illegal activity is a violation of the Terms of Service here at Yahoo Answers, but I don't want to just be reporting things for no reason if those questions don't actually constitute a ToS violation.

  • Looking for the title of a book I read as a child?

I'm trying to find the title of a book I read as a child. It was about a boy who keeps seeing the ghost of an old man in the woods around his house. It turns out at the end that the old man used to have a truck that he drove people around in, and at the end of the book, the boy has the truck brought to the park and it's made into a piece of playground equipment that the children can enjoy. Does this ring a bell for anyone? I want to say I probably bought it at a school book fair, so it's most likely published by Scholastic, sometime in the mid 90s.

  • Classes in Washington State high schools?

For my book, one of my characters is in the eleventh grade in a fictional high school in Washington. I need to know what science class she would most likely be in. At my high school, here in Georgia, I took biology as a freshman, chemistry as a sophomore, physics as a junior, and AP Environmental Science as a senior. I want to make sure I have the character in the right class for her grade level.

Also, what about math and English classes? Any particular breakdown of those for each grade level? It's not a majorly important detail, but Google searches haven't really given me much to go on. Thank you in advance for your help!

  • Does anyone know of a movie that features an older woman adopting a boy?

I can remember a few details. The boy was special, either a robot or a specially programmed human or something, and this woman adopts him and teaches him that it's ok to make mistakes. I think there may have been a scene involving a pottery wheel. I want to say that there was some company producing these children, and the old woman got the boy on accident. Does it ring any bells for anyone?
