Hi I'm using an elgato to record gameplay from my ps3 and a blue yeti to record voiceovers but my yeti picks up the sound from the tv and plays it back in the video so I have an echo. Is there a way I can play on my tv with sound coming from the tv and record only my voice with the yeti?

I have a desktop running windows 7 home and am using that for game development in unity and gaming on and off steam. I know nothing about windows 8 but I've heard that it has issues with gaming. Planning to get a lenovo y50 to do game Devc and gaming on the ggo which comes with windows 8. I've also heard of an app for windows 8 that lets u use windows 7... Sooo how does that work?

Also would it be hard to transfer data and stuff of the like between a windows 7 PC and a windows 8 laptop?

I'm looking for a laptop atm that cañ play games and that I can do game development on. I have a mid ranged desktop already and want a laptop for development and gaming on the go. I know that cheaper laptops tend to be good in certain areas and worse in others so let me tell u the main specs I'm looking for.

1) good CPU and GPU

2) good amount of space,1tb is good for me

3) good framerates

Battery power I don't care about since I can just get one of those portable charger things they have now.

Heat, I'm sure they all get pretty hot but less hot would be better. Ill get a cooler tho.

Im thinking about the lenovo y50 becausel the specs are good and its cheap.

Budget is around $1000 give or take.

Hopefully someone can answer this also, there's different model number code thingies for the y50 and something called 4k. Any idea what those are?

I'm asking because I need a cheap one to boot my computer so I can update the bios and swap in my fx8320. I dont know how to tell what my mobos stock bios is. The processor must start my computer without updating bios.

I'm troubleshooting my first build as it won't start when I switch psu on. I think the problem is with the CPU and mobo somehow. Someone told me that the factory bios of my motherboard doesn't support the CPU until I update... I think he meant my mobo. So is this true? Can someone give me a better understanding of this?

Im asking because im building a pc and cant get it to start. Im connecting the parts out of the case now so i dont have to deal with the case.

I already replaced the psu because it would only power a case fan for one second sometimes and didnt pass the paperclip test. Also the heatsinkfan wouldnt start.

The new one passes the paperclip test since the psu fan went on and case fan stayed on but heatsink fan didnt go on again and nothing would work when plugged to the mobo and turned on psu.

So i figure my new psu was good but my mobo was bad. Got it replaced. Tried the new mobo today to no avail. So im guessing the cpu or heatsink is bad and im trying to get it replaced atm.

anybody have any ideaas?

Am i right to think my cpu is bad?

Also when assembling parts out of case what are the minimal parts you need to start a computer?

Im super frustrated and starting to lose hope; '(

What do you think? Can it play most games?

Ive already bought the parts listed built it and tried starting it but it did not start. Nothing started. I then unplugged evrything but 2 case fans from my psu and did the paperclip test and it barely turned one fan for half a sec. So i figured my psu was doa and ordered a new one this time a corsair 500w.

This is my first time building a pc but i did alot of research on how to build it but not too much reaearch on if the parts are compatible with eachother.

Ill be receiving my new psu tomorrow and just wanted to know if the parts i chose were a good choice and possible reasons why it wouldnt have started in regards to the compatibilty of the actual parts.

Last night my car was working fine, after the gym me and my gf return to my car and try to start her up but the ignition didn't click. The battery goes on lights, radio and everything works but the ignition doesn't click. We managed to get the car started and drove home by pushing the car and popping the clutch.

What can/should I check for before taking it to the professionals?

The car is a 1997 Toyota tercel ce manual transmission with only 33,000 miles.

I have a l120 and want to get a fisheye lense for it. There are lenses that can be fitted to dslrs with 18- 52mm. My l120 reads 4.5-94.5mm. So I'm wondering how all this lenses sizes and adaptablilty stuff works.

It Also reads 1:3.1 -5.8

I just recently got a job delivering pizza's at papa johns and know that neither the store or my current insurance will cover me if I get into an accident while on the job.

Is comm insurance worth it? I heard it was expensive.

And would I be covered if another car hits me while I'm on the job?

So as I was parallel parking on the side of the street I checked all around my car and it was safe to park. I had my blinker on and was doing everything right. So as I was looking back and backing in my gf in the passenger seat says "why is this guy so close to you?". I turn to look and see this car hella close to me and noticed I kinda tapped it. He was not there earlier and I have no idea why he was so close. My lane was huge and I was on the far right of my lane since I was paralleling. The guy was definetly in my lane.

Anyways it happened to be some old man. He took down my info but I didn't take down his. Not sure why I didn't, i was kinda confused with how I hit him. I didn't argue with him, all he said was that I hit his car and that he was going to the repair shop.

his insurance, Geico left my a message to call them asap. I don't feel like it was my fault since he was in my lane and was basically asking to get hit. This is my first time hitting anyone and I don't want my insurance to go up and don't wanna pay for his repairs. We have the cheap plan that only covers you for if you get hit by someone.
