dental implant 5 years after extraction?
I had an upper premolar tooth extracted 5 years ago but didn't get it replaced (regrettably I've been avoiding the dentist). Since then, the teeth around it have shifted into the empty spot so that there is not enough space for an implant, although I'd like to get one eventually. What is usually done to fix this? Braces? Also I'd appreciate an estimate for the time and cost if possible.
1 AnswerDental8 years agoOlder mail not loading?
When I try to open some older messages, they do not load correctly. The message basically says "[No Subject]" and "To: undisclosed-recipients" and has nothing for the message body. However, the message header looks fine when viewing from the Inbox, and newer messages are OK. This problem occurs only for my older mail from 2006-2007. Does anyone know what's going on and how to fix?
1 AnswerNotices and Errors1 decade agoHow to color with gimp or photoshop...?
I have a transparency of a line art. Is there a way to block in colors in another layer, but without going over the lines in the line art layer? For example, I want to color in the skin, but I don't want to waste time carefully painting along the lines.
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoHow to program this...?
Sorry I deleted this by accident.
I have a lot of hosted images open in Firefox in different tabs. In each tab, the address bar reads something like http://something.com/image001_small.jpg, except the number after image is different for each tab. I usually have to highlight and delete the "_small" to open the full sized image, and repeat this for each tab. I want a program that does this automatically, ie delete "_small" from the address, open the modified address, move to the next tab, and repeat.
edit: Sorry, I forgot to mention that I got these links open in the tabs with DownThemAll in the first place.
In response to David G:
How do you export all the URLs from different tabs into a single text file?
3 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoA fair coin is tossed 4 times...?
A fair coin is tossed 4 times and each time the coin lands heads up. If the coin is then tossed 1996 more times, how many heads are most likely to appear for these 1996 additional tosses?
a)996
b)998
The answer is b, because each toss is independent, as I was told, but I am having a hard time understanding this intuitively. My first guess was 996 because I thought since there are already 4 heads, and there are 2000 tosses, most likely half the 2000 would be heads and half would be tails. What is wrong with this reasoning?

Can anyone who liked these recommend other good anime/manga? I am looking for something suspenseful and fast-paced, but anything with a good plot will work. I also liked almost all the mature stuff by Tezuka (Buddha, Adolf), 20th Century Boys, most of Hayao Miyazaki's movies, etc.

I don't know where to start, please help.
A metal sphere of radius a contains a charge +Q and is surrounded by an uncharged, concentric, metallic shell
of inner radius b and outer radius c, as shown above. Express all algebraic answers in terms of the given
quantities and fundamental constants.
(a) Determine the induced charge on each of the following and explain your reasoning in each case.
i. The inner surface of the metallic shell
ii. The outer surface of the metallic shell

The table below gives selected vaules for the derivative of a function g on the interval -1 ≤ x ≤ 2. If g(-1) = -2 and Euler's method with a step-size of 1.5 is used to approximate g(2), what is the resulting approximation?
x, g(x)
-1, 2
-0.5, 4
0, 3
0.5, 1
1, 0
1.5, -3
