I have my B.Sc. in Biology and am a proud mom to a whole zoo of pets. Animals are my passion and will (hopefully) be my career as well. I've worked at a vet clinic as an assistant/receptionist/tech for four years now and thoroughly enjoy the work. I've observed a variety of illnesses and helped with many diagnostic procedures, treatments and surgeries. I try to be active with animal rescue and all of my pets are adopted. I always advocate adopting an animal, and saving a life, rather than buying. Most pet stores buy their animals from mills or back yard breeders. These are cruel and inhumane and should never be supported.
