  • Help caging a jack russel?

We have a 5 year old jack russel that we've had for about 3 years, she's always had a problem being alone in the house pooping on the floor. We've had about 5 cages that she's gone through in that time. Last week she broke out of her metal cage breaking it at the welds and she was limping on her rear leg.

We took her to the vet and he said she basically sprained a muscle and she'd be fine, we bought a new cage and she's broken out of that one twice, the only two times we put her in. She's cut her head getting under the metal grate and her front paws are scraped and swollen as well.

We only have her in the cage from about 8 am to 3:30 pm monday - thurs while everyone is out of the house. We can't let her roam the house because petty parents are worried about her pooping on the carpet, even though it's clear she doesn't want to be alone.

The 2nd time we took her to the vet he suggested a anti-anxiety medication or recording her to see what she is doing to break out of the cage. What would the purpose of recording her be other then watching her hurt herself? and has anyone had any success with anti-anxiety medication because I really don't feel like a doped up dog is the answer.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I cannot interact with anything, demon doors don't talk, enemy monsters don't attack, no one in town walks around they're all just standing there.

has anyone else had this problem and how do you fix it?
