I'm trying to buy a house in Southern Californiat, and my buyer agent is asking me to sign an buyer agreement stating "Buyer agrees to pay to Broker, the amount of copensation, as 3% of the acquisition price".

Is this normal? I heard from friends that they didn't pay commission to the buyer agent during their purchse of house.

Recently my car always has this problem at gas stations: The pump thinks the gas tank is full and stops filling when it is actually empty. I have to hold the nozzle and fill it bit by bit (it shuts off once a few seconds). Why does this happen? How expensive is it to fix it?
