I'm making a playlist for everyone to listen to at work. To get some more ideas what are you favourites from this era?

I'm currently working as temporary maternity cover at my current job. Last week my boss came to me and said that a permanent position had opened up and I could apply if I wanted to, of course I do.

I've got my CV all done, but she also wants a cover letter, but I'm struggling to think of what to write. I don't think I can get away with 'I already work here just give me the job!'

Any advise?

I'm currently applying for a new job, but I'm also still working at my current one. Where I'm working now was my first proper job, so I don't have any previous employers, and it's been quite some time since I left school, so I don't even know if the references I had from there are even still teachers or let alone remember me.

Should I actually get called in for an interview, and they ask for a reference, should I give them my current boss? It seems highly inappropriate.

I'd love to get a book (or a few) for my 11 year old cousin for Christmas, but I'm having a hard time finding one aimed at teens that isn't full of angst and teen romance. I want something inspirational and motivational, something to contrast with the female figures often spotlighted in the media, but also something easy to read and fun to keep her attention. I want her to have a positive fictional role model to look up to.

It's been awhile since I was 11, and I can't say I'm up to date with what's cool for young teens at the moment. So any teen books you've read or would like your daughter(s) to read if you have you one?

I'm 17 and have had social anxiety for years. It became worst whilst I was in high school, it prevented me from talking to people I didn't know, speaking up in class, or asking for help; but because by this time I'd gotten use to high school and had enough friends that it was manageable I was fine.

Now I've left high school, I can't deal with it. I got great grades and was able to get into the better college in my area, but I dropped out a couple of months before I was due to start because I was simply too scared. So I joined up with the other college instead, on the first day I was really nervous, panicked, walked in the one gate and walked out the other. So I'm no longer going to college.

I'm too scared to get a job, I really do want one because I want a career. I tried handed out my CVs to shops in town but couldn't bring myself to talk to anyone to give them in.

I'm having trouble speaking to my friends now and there's only one I can still speak with. I've tried going to my doctor, but every appointment I end up downgrading the issue, so it's no help at all. I've tried therapy twice and can't bring myself to talk to them properly so in the end I just stop going.

I'm not sure what else to do, I hoped someone on here had gone through the same thing and could give me some advice, thank you.

I'm deciding to form a closer relationship with my zodiac sign this year. It's something I've always been interested in, and I think it's time I looked at it more closely. I've been trying to find somewhere online to go to look a my horoscope, to see the signs I'm most and least compatible with, and such things; but nearly everywhere seems to say something different. So since I'm new to this I thought I'd come and ask other peoples opinions on where to go and what to do. I'm a Virgo if that helps at all.

I've recently become more interested in like electro music, like the general vibe. I realise there are different types but I'm not too sure which I prefer yet since I haven't listened to much. What I'm finding something similar to is:

Or anything that's not like them but you'd suggest I listen to anyway, I'm trying to branch out my music tastes as listening to the same bands over and over again is getting a bit old.

So I've just brought myself a new X-Box because my brother stole our old one, and really the only reason that I brought another one is because we already have loads of games for it. But I find that the only games I play that we have are Skylanders and Sonic, I know don't judge.

So I need to get more. First thing to say is that I hate shooting games, I find no enjoyment out of them and when I have to control the camera and where my character is walking at the same time, it just confuses me. So really I need games like Sonic and Mario since they're games I spend most of my time playing. Games I'm already thinking of buying are:

It doesn't have to be just about life, just that general area. I'm creating two trees in Art one negative and the other positive, and on the leaves I wanted to place quotes. These are some of the ones I have so far:

I need a short vampire poem (no more then 5 stanzas) that doesn't romanise them. Like one where they're dangerous and killing people.

I need it for my friends English homework because she has to contrast two poems, we have the romantic one, now we need the monster one.

I came home from school today and one of my two fish were dead. The one which is still alive at the moment was lying on it's side on the top of the tank but was still breathing a little. I put him in the skin and he slowly became alright again and now I've put him in the bath to have a swim around and is now doing fine. But there is a big purple-ish mark between his eyes and I'm not sure what it is or what to do about it? I think it might be an infection because when I brought him less than a week ago it looked like he had a gimpy fin, and now looks like he's swimming on his side a little.

I'm having a stud put in my bottom lip (or just below it) because I'm still at school and I don't want to be suspended. So I wondering:

How long will it take to heal?

How long will it be before I can change it?

Can I switch between having a stud and a ring?

I'm sure I read that it's on June 7, is this true? What time is it going to be on? And is it being shown on Kerrang! TV?

I know a lot of people have been saying Robin for sure, but I doubt it, he's with Batgirl, and I don't think it's going to be such a big iconic character. Marvel's Northstar isn't that well known after all.
