I went swiming today and thought it would be a smart idea to wear my contacts. (so not a smart one) I was teaching for about 4 hours. Midway thru teaching swimming classes i realized that my right eye was blurry but i could still see fine with my left contact on.

After class I felt around my right eye with my finger to see if it was still in there. NADA. My friend amy saw that she saw something there, and i definatley felt something was there, but again my vision was still blurry.

When i came home i put on eye drops to see if it would work......the only thing it did was make me cry. So how do i know if its still in there???? is there an easier way to check? BEST ANSWER GETS 10 POINTS!!! thanks =]

Last night I had an Asthma attack and went to the ER. they gave me tons of drugs and Wen I came home i slept for a bit....but when i woke up 4 hours later i was shaking. This has been going on for the past 12 hours......its not very severe, but enough to be worrisome...

My friend MV told me she went to ER for her asthma one time as well. She told me it was normal to be shaking, and I believed it, but i just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this too.

I have had asthma for 7 years. I am currently on

Advair steriod inhaler (2puffs a day)

Prednisone (3 pills a day)

Albuterol for the Nebulizer (every4 hours)

and Singular (at night - one pill)

I have had severe asthma attacks the past week but now with these medications I can actually sleep the entire night. However, when i lay down, My heart starts hurting. then i get some chest pains. Despite the heart and the chest pains I can breathe well. Even my peak flow says so.

Should I be seen for this? And if it ever gets super bad what should I do? Could it be merely side effects? should I wait it out....?

Have had bad asthma attacks for the past 6 nights. Sometimes when i would sleep when i was having one i would stop breathing. My parents had to wake me up telling me to breathe. it was really scary and it seems my mediciences arent working. the doctor is giving me everything she can. What should i do? And during anyone of these attacks should I be going to the hospital?

This past Monday and Tuesday I had two awful asthma attacks during the night. I had to stay home from school because I felt extremely weak. Despite the fact I was taking my medicines every 4 hours to keep my asthma under control. Which, clearly was not working.

Yesterday (Tuesday) I went to see the doctor around 5 pm. I told her what I had been doing, but at that time, I was completely clear. She told me to continue doing what I was doing and that I was getting much better. I asked her "What if I have another attacK". Her reply was, keeping using your method and if its not better by Friday give us a call.

Well now its wednesday. And last night I had another awful attack. And it felt even worse. My dad and I tried all the usual stuff and nothing worked. In fact, it felt even worse than the two other attacks.

So we called the emergency nurse line and the nurse told me to use two nebulizer treatments. I did and I was able to fall asleep. But 4 hours later I woke up with another attack.

What should I do? And is it normal to feel so fatigue after them? All i can keep doing is sleeping because i feel so weak.

What is the difference?

Sometimes my friend will be lyk "oh i just have asthma right now"

and at other times he would say something lyk "I had an asthma attack".

I know asthma attacks are when you cant breathe, but isnt having asthma the same thing? And if having an asthma attack means abruptly, they cant happen abruptly right? something needs to trigger it?

And if you are sleeping and you wake up and have an asthma attack, what caused that?
