I'm an athiest and curious why if you're a believer think the reason is for a god-myth to create everything. Are we just a game, something to keep a god-myth amused and from becoming bored?

So far I have lived the most amazing and happy life, I've travelled all over the world , I've met some amazing people, I've created security, I have the most amazing children, the most amazing friends, I've helped people continually and helped countless into a happy life with no gain to me, I'm completely content with an abundance of love, care, compassion, kindness and selflessness. I and those around me have helped create the most perfect life for me. So in light of this, why should I need any valid reason to be 'converted' to believe something I don't?

It seems to me that, there is lots of people and lots of cases I here, whereby interference in other people's lives is the norm. From someone telling another what to do, to someone telling what you should believe in. So looking at other people's lives and not actually looking at their own. It does seem to be everywhere. What can we do as a society to show people that they should look at their own lives before interfering in that of others?

Do you take each word, sentence and paragraph as 'gospel' for want of a better word, or do you look for references outside of its words to relate?

A self centred outlook. Or could this be caused by a number of factors?
