I'm living in a new state temporarily, what should I do about my license?
I'm living in a new state and will only be here for a total of a year. I've switched my car and renter's insurance over so the policy is in the new state. However, I do not want to get a new driver's license and register my car in the new state, just so I can do it again in a year.
I'm worried that if I get in an accident, the insurance coverage will be dropped because it is for one state while my license/registration is for a different state.
Any advice?
Also, my new policy doesn't go into effect for a few more days, should I cancel the policy change and just keep it in the same state that my registration is in? Is there any coverage for just a temporary change (1 year)?
1 AnswerInsurance & Registration10 years agoHow do Girls Feel about a Guy with a Tongue Piercing?
I'm dating this girl who is really into me getting a tongue piercing. I just got a tattoo on my lower hip so its not the pain I'm worried about.
I've never really thought about getting a piercing, but now I'm kinda 50/50 on the subject (she mentioned a nipple piercing.... but uh.... no).
So my question is how do you girls feel about a guy with a tongue piercing?
9 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoGetting my First Tattoo Next Tuesday, Need Help?
As the title says, I'm getting my first tattoo next tuesday, it will be on my lower abdomen/hip area. Anything you want to post on here go ahead, stories, tips, advice, is all appreciated.
My main problem is there is hair growth where I'm getting it, should I shave the day I go in?
Also, is there anything I should do in preparation for it?
Thank you in advance, and I'll pick best answer, I'm not lazy
10 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoWhere to get my Tattoo? - Is my Idea too Girly?
I'm a 19 year old male. I want to get a tattoo of a star with wings. The star would be somewhat tribal looking and the wings would be more horizontal, somewhat like angel wings. (I can go into the symbolism but I would rather not bore you.)
My first Idea was to go on my shoulder (side) and the wings were going to be more vertical. I've seen a few like that and I'm not fond of them. My idea right now is to go on my lower abdomen, to the left side (stage right). It would kind of be hip area, but it wouldn't really go down to my pubic area.
I'm wondering if this is too much of a girly spot. I don't know what it will look like. Don't make fun of me, but I got temporary tattoos and I'm going to put them there first (I would rather be safe than sorry). I'm not fat, and I don't plan on getting a belly anytime soon.
What other spots would be a good idea? And would the hip spot hurt? kinda seems like it would
Thanks for all the answers in advance and I'll put more details if you need them
4 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoGuy Body hair Shaving Question -Girls or guys, I don't care?
So my dad is a hairy guy, therefore I am a hairy guy. I never really used to care because it wasn't that bad. I'm 19 now and its getting a little annoying. So I trimmed my stomach/chest hair and shaved my back hair (yes, there was a little, not a lot though). I shave the sides of my stomach so I have a happy trail, which doesn't look horrible because my ab-V is starting to come in.
Is there anything I can do other than just shaving/trimming because its getting annoying to keep up with. And I'm also afraid its going to come back fuller and thicker (I've heard its a myth, but I've heard its not so I don't really know). And also, would it just be better to shave my whole chest/stomach instead of having some chest hair + happy trail?
Thanks in advance
9 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoTattoo Pricing?
I've been thinking about getting a Tattoo. I live in Columbus, Ohio. I was wondering if anybody could give me an estimate on the pricing. I'll describe what I want and see if I can find a picture.
I want it to go on my shoulder (side) and to be a star with wings. The picture I attach has wings that are horizontal, but my wings would be longer vertically. There wouldn't be any colors, just black and white with some minor shading. Thanks for the help, and sorry for the generallity.
10 AnswersTattoos1 decade agoDodge Avenger 97 Transmission?
I have a 97 Dodge Avenger ES. I called a mechanic and they said most likely my problem is a leakage in the transmission, something about a rear piston. The estimated a rebuild of 1200-1800 dollars. I went to a store and bought a bottle of stuff that is supposed to help repair rings and leakage.
The only thing that the bottle says under directions is to add it to the transmission without overflowing. So... my question is where exactly do I add this fluid? And is there any other help or suggestions in dealing with this problem.
3 AnswersDodge1 decade agoOccurrence with a 97 Dodge Avenger's Transmission?
This only occurs when it is really cold outside. I live in Ohio so by cold I mean anywhere lower than 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Usually when I start my car my transmission slips. It will rev, like it is in neutral for around 5 seconds, then finally kicks in. This usually happens for the first 5 minutes or so till my car warms up. I've had the car for about 2 years. I've had the water pump replaced when I first bought it, and the owner before me said he had just had transmission work done.
My question is if anybody else has experienced this and what they did about it. Or if anybody has any suggestions.
Also, my check engine light is on. Pep Boys said it was with my oxygen sensor (1) so I replaced it with a new oxygen sensor, but the check engine light is still on.
