I've been having this issue for months. Links from Calendar reminders no longer work. I send myself reminders from my calendar on a frequent basis, and sometimes I want to edit the reminder. When I click on on the "Reminder from: [my username's] Calendar" link, I get a Yahoo 404 page. The link is something like http://calendar.yahoo.com/YYY,4c7f1a/ - it's everything after the .com that is bad.

In my job we have frequent interactions with Thai individuals, usually electronic correspondence. Thai names can be very long and hard to pronounce for Americans, but the primary difficulty is determining a person's gender. So far I have been unable to look at a name and glean any rules or patterns that might identify a person as male or female based on their name (first name or last name). Does anyone know of any such rules or patterns that we might be able to follow to make an educated guess, or are we "doomed" simply to ask about gender first?

My 3-yo son has learned how to put his own shoes on (no tying yet, just putting them on his feet) but doesn't always get them on the correct foot. I'm looking for suggestions for how to teach him which shoe goes on which foot. I'm drawing blanks. What has worked for you?

I have a weakness of over-salting my popcorn when I go to the theater. Inevitably the salt (that butter-flavored super-fine kind) will cause my tongue to burn badly, like I'd just stuck it in a cup of boiling water. It will be extremely painful/sensitive for about 48 hours, and then the top layer of my tongue will literally peel off. This ONLY happens with popcorn salt, not table salt (perhaps because of the granules' fineness). Anyone know why popcorn salt would do that? My 2 theories are (1) a chemical burn of some sort thanks to additives in the salt; (2) the salt dissolves into my tongue tissue and then absorbs more water than it can hold, essentially causing my taste buds to rupture.

Looking for serious answers only, please.
