im 32 weeks and my dr said they think my kidneys are failing.. im having protein in my urine but no high blood pressure.. she told me to watch out for pain under right ribcage?.. what does it feel like? i dont want to mistake it for anything else.. also what will happen if my kidneys are failing? and what about my baby?

im planning on getting a new phone soon but i want one that i can actually do stuff on facebook/myspace i have the delve right now and i hate it soooo much. is there a phone that i can play the games on facebook? or when i go to websites that have the flash media i can actually see it?.. also uploading pictures right from your phone and not having to send it to your email and so on?.. i really like the blackberry curve do it do these things?

im due april 29 and the sex of the baby is going to be a surprise! so im having a hard time when to plan the baby shower.. i had two ideas

-before my due date and either tell people they can buy for neutral boy or girl and bring receipts (my only problem if i have a girl i want pink stuff! i have a 9 month old boy so i have so much stuff for a boy)

-or a few weeks after i have the baby so everyone can see the baby and it might be easier than having to return things(my only problem i might not feel up to it after giving birth and i am having problems with my pregnancy already)

also i have never had a baby shower before so if you guys could give me some ideas on games themes food ideas drinks and so on!

my son is 9 months old and i want to start teaching him sign language i actually wanted to start earlier but i kept forgetting.. so im wondering how to go about it?.. when to do it such as before after during the act? should i teach him one sign at a time until he gets that one or sign more than one thing? also what i should start out signing? (i was thinking "eat" or "milk") are any other parents here doing this? and if so how well is it working with you?

also my husbands first language is spanish so we speak to him in spanish most of the time when he is home from work and i speak to him in english when im with others who speak english.. so should we teach him the signs in spanish .. if that makes sense to you..

i forgot to pay my taxes last year!!! im not sure how i forgot but i did.. i only owe 5 dollars and i just now thought about it.. i heard there are taxes added to it for not paying on time or something?.. i havent worked since feb of 09.. and i got married so do i have to file my taexes from jan. and feb last year or can my husband claim my son and i? and also my first job i never filed those taxes.. i was 16 and i didnt know what it was.. will i get in trouble or something?..

as you can tell i know nothing about this.. im just really worried now since i forgot to pay!

before i ask my question if your going to say dont have children if you cant afford them or anything like that then dont respond!!

my husband and i qualified for medicaid but they are saying im still on my mothers insurance? my mom said she hasnt gotten billed for anything so far.. with my first son i was 18 and qualified but there was never anything said about me being on my mothers insurance.. she said she hasnt changed anything on it.. and she said once i got married i should have been off of it..

so im just confused.. im wondering if this has happened to other people.. and if someone could explain it better for me? thanks! :)

my dr. says she will make an appt. when im 30 weeks?.. i go every 4 weeks and the past two appt. she has said shed make an appt. the next time.. well im 25 weeks and the next time i go i will be 30 weeks.. i asked why and she just said your not quite there yet? im measuring right at 25.. im pretty upset.. maybe im over-reacting?.. people have told me that the baby could be too big to be able to tell by 30 weeks?. could this happen?... with my first my last sono (except right before he was born) was at 23 weeks!! with the baby now ive had 2 sonos at 6 and 8 weeks.. doesnt she want to make sure the baby is growing fine? and finally is there a way i could find out before i go next time? we just really want to be prepared incase of preterm labor and other things!

im due at the april 29 2010.. i forgot how many weeks i am!?.. but my son i just had was due april 30 of 2009 so i got pregnant right after.. so i was wondering if my baby will be bigger? or is there more fluid?.. i know it sounds stupid but i know my uterus didnt have time to go back to normal.. so i dont know if that will effect the baby..

im 19 weeks prego with my second baby and my husband and i are trying to come up with names but keep disagreeing.. we find out in a few weeks hopefully what we are having. we have a few names narrowed down for a girl but for a boy we have no idea.. we are wanting names that are hispanic.

my son is 7 months old now and im thinking about weening him off formula to goats milk

i know they arent suppose to have milk until 1 year of age. but ive read that some dr recommend goats milk if the child has an allergic reaction to cows milk, soy(which my sons on) and so on. he throws up every formula we give him but no other solid foods. also my son is skinny and tall and no matter how much i feed him he does not get any bigger! so im hoping the milk makes him gain some weight!

my mom just gave me a crockpot for a present.. i am a new mother wife and expecting.. so i rather try recipes that arent too complicated.. also im very new to cooking!! my husband always complains how i always cook from a box or go out to eat.. he is mexican so he always eats homemade food..

i would like to try some recipes that are

easy or medium in difficulty

kind of spicy(only my husband likes spicy food)

alright since my son was born he has always spit up! and its not just a little bit we call it "throwing up" because its all over and numerous times! we have switched his formula many times and its never improved.. he is now on similac isomil(which is soy) and has been for about 2-3 months and still he throws up.. but its only when he drinks his formula.. he is mainly on solid foods which he doesnt spit up

but when he eats cheese yogurt and other things with dairy he can handle it ..i am the same way i only get sick when i drink milk..

could he be lactose-intolerant?

allergic to soy also?

and someone suggested goats milk?

so i was wondering if any other moms had this problem with their children..

my husbands first language is spanish and mine is english. i can speak very little spanish. i know alot of it but i cant put it all together. so im not sure how to go about teaching my son. people have told me to have my husband his family and friends only speak to him in spanish. with my family friends and others in english. but im not sure if that is the best way.. if you need/want more details just ask! i just really need to learn what i need to do! thanks! : )

i have been just saying no to him and i can tell he knows what it means but after awhile he will go do whatever i dont want him to anyways.. so i usually go over there take it away or remove him from it and try to get him to play with something else but he will scream and cry and go back to what he was doing before!! also he bites now! he pulls hair! and he will try and hit if he doesnt like something! im a first time mom and i have no clue how to deal with this the right way. my husband just wants to spank(not hard) on the hand or bum.. but i dont at all!! i want to show him he can learn without being spanked!! please help! thank you so much!!

ok i know i should ask my ob but its very weird for me.. so i rather try things at home and then go to my ob..

about 2 weeks ago i started to get vaginal dryness everywhere, itching only on the skin outside, and redness where it itches i normal shave but it hurts too much when i get closer to the vagina..

im 17 weeks prego with my 2nd and this pregnancy im very dry but i have discharge thats clear and more on the thick side (my ob says its normal?)

my sons name is mario audiel lara .. he is named after his dad but he isnt a jr because his middle name is diff. so we call him audiel

i promised my husband we would name our next son either oswaldo or guillermo(sp) after his closest friends who died.. but i didnt think i would be pregnant so soon! so im worried cause he stills remembers me promising

for a girls name i like joseline elizabeth lara but he wants his mother name laura joseline lara but it doesnt sound right to me.

i really dont want tradtional names unless they sound good!

i dont know how to make mashed potatoes and i know that sounds stupid but i want to make sure i do it right for my son. i know he cant have dairy products. so i was just wondering what other moms/dads do?

im 14 weeks pregnant and i have been sick for over 2 weeks now with runny/stuffy nose a bad cough and the chills so im guessing just a cold. but i have a really bad cough with mucos(sp) and my nose is stuffed and no matter how much i blow it nothing comes out. my dr does know and she said i could take sudafed(sp) and some other but that was the only one i remember. my sister has what i have and she took mucinex(sp) and shes all better but im not sure if i can take it! please help me! i have already passed it on to my 6month old and im driving my husband crazy coughing every 30 sec.!! thanks!!

Audiel is 6 months and he got his shots today including the swine flu shot. He has a cold on top of all of that.. im not sure if he was running a temp. before his shots but he wasnt warm to the touch. he was fussy tired runny/stuffy nose he will only drink formula no baby food or cereal.. but now he is very hot his temp is 101.1 and still has the other symptoms.. so im not sure if i should call his ped. or not?.. he has never been sick so im worried!
