  • Help! sudden knee pain?!?

So today i bent down to get a book from my locker and when i kneeled down(basically sitting on my heels) i felt a sort of pop behind my right knee on the outside area and then felt a sharp pain. I had a stiff knee for a few seconds and fell to my left. it really hurt and then when i tried to put weight on it the pain returned. i was able to pull myself up and limp to class but i kept my leg completely straight. after a few minutes the pain dulled and it just hurt to bend past 90 degrees. i iced it and then put heat and now my knee feels stiff. i also kept it elevated. the pain is gone and i can squat somewhat but it dully hurts. i don't want to hurt it again and this happened once before months ago but it went away. also my family has a history of arthritis if that matters. i'm also somewhat active as in i exercise about once a week and i'm not overweight. please help i don't know what this is and i don't want to be walking around potentially making it worse. thanks.

  • I don't know what school to pick! HELP!!?

Ok so I'm a senior in high school and come from a very highly accredited school that is rising as one of the nation's best. I've applied to several schools in and out of florida but I'm not sure which one to pick. These are all the one's I've gotten into with the amount of scholarship.

    Nova Southeastern University- $36,000

    University of Central Florida- $12,000

University of South Florida (Honors College as well)- $14,250

Florida International University(Honors College too)- $25,000

    University of Dayton- $60,000

Millsaps College (Here I have a spot on their golf team it's a small Division III team)- $72,000

    University of Miami

I've also applied to Cornell, Yale, and Harvard but those are all reaches that would be great if I got in but are not viable options. My mom graduated from UM and that's my dream school but I think that I also have to be practical and consider all the options. I want to study biology and become a doctor, so I need to pick a school that is going to prepare me for the MCATs and that will put me in a strong position to be accepted. I love UM and I could fit in there but it is very expensive and my parents want me to save for medical school. What should I do? Someone please help my parents aren't being very helpful. Thank you.
