and i got the thing in the bottom left corner and i clicked that. Now it has come up with a window called "View Downloads - Internet Explorer" and I've hit a brick wall. What do I do from here?

On my windows laptop, (I think it's windows 7,) I managed to get Skype on the side of my screen, and my web browser filling the rest of the screen. I could use the web browser, and then quickly go to the right and go on Skype. Now I've forgotten how to do it

I made my account earlier today, and I was helping people with social problems, but now whenever I try to answer questions, a light blue box takes up the bottom of the answer box, and it won't let me type. I can comment on other answers and view questions, but i want to help people again! It feels good to help.
