when i first got it it all seemed to work snappy and fine.

but lately, i notice it seems to suck. when i watch youtube or hulu it's fine until the cooling fan kicks in then the video stutters like crazy. its really annoying and it's not a windows problem because it happens the same when i use jolicloud (different os on another partition).

any help greatly appreciated. the fan didnt used to affect video playback or at least not as much but now it has a great affect but i dont know why, my guess is the fans are already dirty or there is some kind of damage to my hd or cpu or something i dont really know

basically i just have high cpu usage due to many svchost processes and whatnot and it just feels like a windows problem (done alot of research and its been a bug since vista i believe)

should i just try to install windows xp or anyone know if linux is good? (i heard fedora or ubuntu netbook remix work but not super greatly)

also i thought about just using google chrome os since all i do is internet basically and want this guy to work fast and without retardation.

i got a nb205-311w and installed windows 7 pro. it worked great for the first few days then i noticed it just started lagging and stuff. so i tried using system restore to the day i installed windows 7 but i notice just high cpu use from several svchost like localservicenonetwork and dcomlaunch.

but my biggest gripe is when i say play a game on virtualnes or watch youtube it works fine but when my cpu fan kicks in and goes high the game or video lags and it didnt do this before. any experts know some kind of tweaks or anything? this sucks.

asus eee 1005 ha-vu

I like the toshiba and asus mostly cuz they have 6 cell batteries. however they both cost aboout 310.

also is a .3mp webcam really bad cuz i think they all have 0.3 mp webcams and i dont know if i need a 1.3mp one though (just for skype or oovoo)

I could get the acer aspire one for like 250 (friend bought on black friday) but it doesnt have the 6 cell battery so unless the 6 cell costs 60 or less im not too interested in the acer.

Also i plan to upgrade the ram to 2gb for 40-50 bucks i think - kingston or crucial or other?

Experienced users advice would be nice - this is my first netbook! just going to do basic functions, probably download and watch alot of videos too. k thx.

roddy's basically my best receiver but the upgrade from forte to mjd is so tempting for me. we play .5 ppr but mjd is a beast and my feelings for forte aren't strong. i feel like it's a worthy trade. suggestions?

The thing is my fps is terrible. I don't know why. I play on 800x600 resolution with only 16-bit color textures or whatever.

I feel like the card should be good enough to run cs at 100 fps rather than the 30-60 i get.

i have done fps_max 100, messed with all the cl_updaterate and rate settings but can't understand why the fps is so crappy.

is the card really bad? i have 2 gb of ram and an amd sempron like 2 ghz processor but i feel like i should be able to max this old game out. my card drivers are up to date as well. any ideaS?

it's a new toshiba satellite 300. very basic one. however this jittery motion happened to my old dell inspiron 5100 as well.

when i try to use the laptop's mouse via touchpad it moves around in a very jittery, unpredictable way. even if i hold my finger just on the mouse pad the cursor on the screen will jitter up and down for no reason. it's hard to use and hard to make precise clicks - even closing a window is unnecessarily difficult!

when i plug in a mouse with usb it works fine. but the touchpad is just bad. did i get a bad touchpad on this toshiba? it seems unlikely. i thought it was a problem with my old laptop because it was getting old. however the exact same problem is on my new toshiba laptop! anyone else experience this and find a solution? greatly appreciated. thanks

but how should i actually ship it? fedex, ups or even usps (us postal service)? and how much can i expect it to cost? i'm told it's best to do ground shipping on a monday or tuesday so it won't have to sit somewhere over the weekend and groudn shipping is safer than air shipping (i have seen some pretty brutal baggage handlers...)

i've tried to look it up on fedex online and such but don't even know what the dimensions of the boxed up guitar will be - -; my guess was 4x2x1 and weight was 30 pounds but i really dont know.

anyone that has had experience shipping a guitar would be greatly appreciated for feedback

mason is still doing decent - i value him for 3's mostly but still gets a few points and boards here and there.

jamario moon's been pretty good recently too: avging 10 pts, 9 boards, 1.2 blocks and an assist.

hes probably the worst on my team but we're in a 14 deep 13 cat h2h league so we have to try and find some kind of sleepers.

i know millsap for kg is a good trade but i doubt i'll get that, should i try to throw in mason or moon as well? it sucks cuz i'd have to replace them with some crap out of free agency...

millsap has been crazy with boozer out and boozer apparently will still be out for a while (who knows, his mri comes out today). but kg is pretty solid and has slightly higher numbers than millsap on avg.

kg gets less turnovers and more blocks and assists too. millsap gets more offensive boards though (these all count im in a 12 cat league).

should i try to 'sell high' with millsap now or just use him up?

I'm willing to spend up to 200 I guess.

So far I've considered burton missions and cartels. but admittedly i don't know much about them. I've tried looking at reviews and such online but everyone has their own strong opinions - either really good or really bad.

so naturally i want the cheaper ones (missions). and some poeple say the on-toe straps are good, other people say it can be bad.

outlaw is decent but was only best in the beginning with more minutes with oden out.

his numbers are very similar to evans but outlaw is 60% owned and evans is only 9% owned but i feel like evans is better in he gets more minutes and has been more consistent and is actually just about equal with outlaw in every cat but slightly better in 3's and slightly worse in assists.

i already have brandon roy and greg oden so i was considering dumping outlaw for evans. should i do it or just keep him and save myself a precious move (theres a max of 40 in my league)
