2 AnswersHomework Help5 years agoThe Wizard of Oz, how dose the cowardly lion inspire you?
I'm Writing a short essay on The 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz for my essay I choose the cowardly lion now I need help the question is What Character inspires you in the film. Make sure to give specific example from the film
This is what I have so far on my essay.
In the film The Wizard of Oz, the character that serves as a source of inspiration for me is the Cowardly lion. In the film The Wizard of Oz the cowardly lion is the last to be found by Dorothy, the Scarecrow and the Tin man as they find him in the forest. He claims to be a coward and wishes to see the Wizard of Oz to ask for courage. However threw out the film the Cowardly lion show’s courage and bravery in many ways. A great examples being when he save Dorothy from the Wicked Witch of the West even when he want to turn back and run he stayed and rescued Dorothy. This to me is a true act of Courage and bravery, because even thought the lion was scared of the wicked witch he was still brave enough to rescue Dorothy. He didn’t turn his back on her when she needed him the most he stayed to the very end. Not only that but by knowing he had a problem he reached out for help, this is also courage because not only did he ask for help he asked pure strangers for help and in doing so he got what he wanted courage and not from the Wizard it was in him all along.
Much appreciated.
