  • what to do about my sick Beagle?

    I rescued this dog from a shelter,about 5 yrs ago. I was his 4th owner and he was only 2 yrs old through a little research I found he was A.K.C. registerd he had been very badly abused, he would just sit in a corner and stare until he had to go outside (he was house broken) With a little T.L.C. and some time he has become a Wonderful dog! My problem is he has an enlarged heart, and collecting fluid on his lung,s My Vet thinks he has a Fungus from drinking water out of L.Huron last fall the Meds he is on will cause him harm in the long run, He suggested taking him to M,S.U. Vet school to see if they could help. Due to my own Med.problems I am unable to do so, ANY SUGGESTIONS?
