If I am traveling at 75 miles per hour and I pass an object that is traveling at 60 miles per hour, does it take the same amount of time to pass that object if I were traveling at 15 miles per hour and the object were at a standstill?

This is a question I remember asking as a kid and I'm not sure that I ever received an answer to it. Is velocity something that changes the amount of time it would take to pass an object exponentially if you were both traveling at a high rate of speed rather than having one object at a standstill?

My g/f just bought a 2009 Mariner and her birthday is coming up... I was thinking about buying her an Ipod nano as part of her birthday gift, but I want to make sure I have all the peripherals to hook it up to her radio in her Mariner... Is there anything special that I will need, or is the output cord from the nano enough?

I'm finally going to do it, I am looking to put a v8 in my baby. This will be a weekend driver, not a track truck. I have the option of selecting a v8 from the late 60s on up to the early 90s. At this point I'm just looking for a block that would be ideal to start with. Are there any suggestions that someone may have? I will rebuild this motor and select components as I go. As far as ease of installation/fun to drive, what would you suggest?

Due to my vocation, i tend to have no trouble accumulating flesh wounds. Is this a turn-off to the fairer sex?
