I'm looking for a way to make my mouse cursor in windows vista MUCH bigger. I need it to be larger than the 'extra large' option that comes with windows.

Again, I want LARGER than the 'mouse properties, select 'extra large' set' option. I have trouble tracking small movements on a screen and need it to be GARGANTUAN.

I'm trying to remember the title of a movie. It involved a future where everyone has to be equal, so anyone who is smart has to wear a headband that lowers their intelligence, since it isn't fair to others to be smarter than them. The story centers around one of the smart kids who is selected to become a part of the hidden 'leadership' of the world that really runs everything.

I got out of the Army 4 years ago, and I miss my Promask. It was easy to wear and great for situations like "You all stink so bad in here I'm just going to sit here in my gas mask." However I'm having a hard time finding one online. There's plenty of the "Israeli" gas masks, but I'd like to get the style I'm familiar with.

1. Is there a prohibition against getting the gas mask as a civilian? I was in charge of the masks and they were rarely considered a 'sensitive item.' Just an expensive one.

2. If I can purchase one, where should I look?

I left the army half a year ago, and when checking my paperwork realized I never sent in my DITY packet from moving from Washington to California. I have the completed packet with all the essential items, but I need to know where to mail it.

I'm trying to find a save game editor for Mass Effect 2 on the PC. I bought it on the Steam sale. Mostly I want to give myself more credits and if possible reassign my companion talent points.

I'm playing Mass Effect 2 and loving it, but if you mis-assign a power point to a companion (or later change your mind) I don't see a way to undo them. I'm trying to find a comprehensive list that explains what all the powers do for each character. Otherwise I have to bring each of them on a mission and look it up.

I'm trying to block Facebook games on my network (Specifically Farmville, Frontierville, Mafia wars, Cityville, etc). I don't want to block Facebook itself, just those games. My router has Website blocking by URL Address, where "You can block access to certain website by the keywords contained in their webpage."

What should I put in the fields to block those games without blocking Facebook itself?

I'm currently using Photoshop 7. I know there has been a version or two of photoshop since then, and I'm considering upgrading. What features do the newer versions of photoshop have that the old version does not?

I'm trying to find a cursor pack to make my mouse cursor HUGE. I'm already using the 'extra large' Windows Aero, but it's not big enough for me. I want one that's about 3-4 times bigger, since I have a very hard time tracking small objects on the screen.

PS: Last time I asked this question, I got responses directing me to the mouse cursor panel in windows. I've already been there and I'm using the largest size it comes with. I want to make it HUGE.

I have a Gateway FX laptop and something has gone wrong with the built in networking card. Windows was repeatedly crashing with a blue screen of death on load, so I completely formatted the computer and installed Vista x64. I have run windows update and installed ALL updates through Windows Update.

The built in card is an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN. Attempts to update the drivers always fail due to hardware error. I have gone into device manager and disabled the card. There is a switch on the laptop that turns WiFi on/off, it is currently set to ON.

The USB WiFi adapter is a Atheros AR5007UG Wireless Network Adapter. I have installed the latest drivers for it. It shows up normally in device manager under network adapters.

By all logic I should be able to see wireless networks. There are literally a half-dozen wireless networks where I am, and laptops several rooms away can see the router I am in the same room with. However, when I go to 'manage wireless networks' there are no wireless networks listed. I can connect the laptop to the internet by using an ethernet cable.

Of particular concern is that there is no 'WiFi networks" tab in the system tray. There used to always be one, but now there's only the tab for wired networks.

To emphasize

1. This is a fresh install of Vistax64, no other programs besides the wireless card drivers are on this computer.

2. Strength of available WiFi networks has been confirmed, it's not a router problem.

3. Ethernet internet access works just fine.

What is preventing my laptop from seeing the wireless networks?

I recently upgraded my hard drive from a single to a 3 hard drive setup on RAID 5. Unfortunately, I'm finding that the write speed on RAID 5 is absolutely horrible, about 25% of what I'd get on a single hard drive. I don't mind buying a 4th hard drive to run Raid 0+1, but I need to know if the system supports it.

Microsoft Windows Vista comes with over 200 fonts installed. This makes finding the font I want incredibly difficult if I don't know it by name or I'm using a program without true-type selection (photoshop), and I have to scroll through tons of fonts I will never... EVER... use (Looking at you Comic Sans). I am looking for a program that will let me "Turn off" the fonts I don't want, and manage the more obscure fonts for occasional use.

99% of the time I am using either Courier New, Times New Roman or Arial. If I could slim my list down to just those three, for most of the time and occasionally activate the weirder fonts (like Army stencil, heart letters, etc) it would be perfect.

I am trying to decide if I should buy a new video card, or purchase a second one of my old card and run an SLI configuration. I'm looking for a website or utility that lists the benchmarks for various Nvidia cards.

I tried the Wiki site, but it lists data like 'stream processors' and 'Gigaflopps'. I'm looking for measurements along the lines of "World of Warcraft frame rate." Even then, comparing across two different types of card (a 260 vs a 460) has different data fields.

Right now the most popular card is the GTX 460... which sells for about $200. But I do a search for the 260 GTX (what I currently have) and also get a price of $200. How can I compare between these two cards to see if I should go 260 SLI or 460 Single?

Or... is it possible to SLI a 460 and a 260?

I am in the army doing research trying to find a rule or regulation somewhere that says who HAS to qualify in a unit per crew served weapon system. For example, if a unit of 30 people has a MK19 grenade launcher, how many people, if any, are required to be qualified on it? Same question for the M2 machine gun. The tricky part is that these are NOT individually assigned weapons, like the M16 or the M203. They are crew served weapons, and as such not assigned to a particular person.

The issue is "How many people, if any, do we NEED to send to qualify with this weapon?" Does everyone on the crew of a crew served weapon need to be qualified? Just one? Just one per X soldiers? A % of unit? Commander's discretion? I need an actual regulation or field manual that says either who decides the requirements for qualification, or a lack therof.

I'm currently on a military base in Iraq, and we've got a huge network set up between all the housing units to connect to the satelite dish for internet. However, the 2 second timelag pretty much prevents any games being played over it (Signal has to go to outer space and back twice).

What I'm trying to find is a utility that will ping the whole network to see what network games are running. Call of Duty, Diablo, Starcraft, whatever. The idea is to be able to find network games without knocking on every door and asking "Hey you want to play a game?"

I am in the army and work in the S1 (administrative actions section). I am frequently asked on how to fill out various forms that I've never seen before, specifically Department of the Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DD) forms. Often I will have no clue what goes in certain sections. For example, the 'certifying officer' section of Family Separation Allowance and Basic Allowance for Housing. Is there some guide out there that goes step by step what exactly is needed in every field on every form?
