Belfast es una gran cidudad y la capital de Irlanda del Norte. Vivo en el oeste de Belfast, una área con mucha historia especialmente en cuanto a 'los disturbios'. Mi cosa favorita de Belfast es el centro comercial porque hay muchas tiendas y es un sitio excelente donde puedo reunirme con mis amigos. Mi edificio favorito es La Casa de la Ópera porque me encantan los musicales y las obras de teatro. Es un edificio muy bonito e histórico.

El verano pasado, fui a Barcelona con mi amiga. Barcelona es una ciudad muy grande con mucho turismo. Aunque Barcelona no es la capital de España, es un ciudad más popular y más grande que Madrid. Es un puerto mediterráneo y está cerca de las playas de la Costa Brava. Tiene un clima excelente.

Un día, mi amiga y yo decidimos a visitar la calle famosa que se llama Las Ramblas. Esta en el centro de Barcelona y tiene cinco calles enormes con muchas tiendas, bares, cafés, restaurantes y además un montón de 'artistas callejeros'. ¡Pensé que estaban muy entretenido!

Preferido Barcelona. ¡No quería a volver a Belfast porque me gusta el sol demasiado! Además, creo que la gente eran más simpática. Hay más a hacer y ver en Barcelona, como La Segrada Familia y el Parque Güell. Pero no me gusta la comida española, creo que la comida irlandesa es mejor. Me divertí mucho.

Me encanta Belfast y Barcelona, pero quiero a vivir en Florida. Voy a ir a universidad en Belfast y estudio a ser una profesora. Después de acabar mis estudios me busco trabajo en los Estados Unidos. En Florida, el tiempo es siempre buena y no me gusta nada el frio y la lluvia.

For the last few months my younger sister has been bullying me constantly. She tells me at least twice a day that I'm ugly/fugly, whichever word is her favorite of the day, tells me I have no friends and that no one gives a damn about me. She constantly insults and belittles me and gets my other two siblings to join in when ever he can. She is controlling and manipulative and I just don't know how to deal with it anymore. This sometimes takes place right in front of my parents and they either laugh, join in or ignore it completely. I'm tired of crying myself to sleep at night and feeling bad about myself all the time. I can't look in a mirror anymore without wanting to cry and while I know I'm not pretty I don't need to be reminded of it every single day. It's having an effect on my school work too and my marks are slipping because I simply just don't care anymore. With GCSEs a mere two months away this is not something I need right now. Please, what do I do?

Someone told my crush yesterday that I liked him and today he asked my best friend if it was true or not. However, he didn't give her any indication as to whether or not my feelings were reciprocated. What does this mean? Guy opinions especially welcome

So lately my feelings for my crush have been waning, but last night I had a dream and he was in it. From what I can remember, it started off with me in a wedding dress and we were playing a game like we were 6 years old and looking for one of my pairs of shoes in a random park I didn't recognise. It then switched to our school and we were on the football pitch. The bell then went but for some reason I didn't want to go back to class so my crush started dragging me back up to the school, keeping one arm around my waist another around my arm. He ended up hurting my arm and there were several large red marks. When we reached the steps leading up to the school I stopped struggling and he removed his grip from my arm and apologised for hurting but he kept his arm around my waist and held me closer. The dream ended as we each went to our classes. Any ideas what this means?

I'm currently writing a LotR romance fanfic between Frodo and my OC. I'm 5 chapters in and I've got a few reviews but I don't feel like many people are that interested. How can I gain more readers? Here's the link, tell me what you think:

About 3 or 4 days ago I developed cold like symptoms and yesterday I noticed what I can only describe as large yellow/brown spots on my right forearm. I thought nothing of it but today I noticed that a few of these same spots were all over my stomach. They're not itchy or irritating, just weird, and for the moment seem confined to my right forearm and stomach. Has anyone had anything similar and could tell me what this is?

My local Hollister is hiring and I want to apply for a job there, the only thing is that I'm 15 (16 I January) and won't get my National Insurance Number until September/October. Would I still be able to apply and get a job? I live in the UK btw.

Eariler today me and my mum were having a fight and I was getting very angry. It got to the point where I was in tears and said to her something along the lines of, 'you don't give a f***'. I've never sworn at either of my parents but I was already upset and my mum was just adding to my problems. When my dad got home she told him and he just said to me that's he'd think about this then speak to me later. This really scared me because I have no idea what he's going to do and I'm really afraid he's going to hit me as he's done so before for lesser things. I know I shouldn't have said what I said and that I'll have to accept the consequences but I'm really scared now. What do I do?

I want to get a second piercing in both my ears, a cartilage and my nose pierced when I'm 16 and a tattoo when I'm 18 (these are the legal ages I can get these done in my area without parental consent). This came up during a family discussion at dinner and when I told them what I was going to do my dad told me: 'if you dare come back one day with any of those things, especially a tramp stamp (his phrase for a tattoo on the lower middle of the back, which is where I want mine) at any age I will knock you into next week' or words to that effect. When I just laughed he said, 'I'm being serious.' and I could tell from his tone that he was. I asked my parents why they had such an aversion to piercings and tattoos and said that they didn't like them and that they're tacky looking. This is fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I was respectful of it, but they completely disrespected mine and were very rude to me. It's not their choice to make, and I don't see why they should be allowed to threaten me with violence if I do something that allows me to express my individuality. What can I do about my parents so that I can do the things I want without getting whacked? And are they being too harsh or are they jusitified? Thanks

Most of the girls in my year have or have had a relationship but I'm not even close to starting one. I feel like I'm abnormal and that no boy will ever want to go out with me. Is it normal that I've not had a relationship yet at 15 years old?

I was going to tell my crush today during sports day that I like him but he never showed up. School ends this day next week and I really want to tell him how I feel before summer. He doesn't have a phone or facebook or anything so I can't text or email him. How I can I get him alone to tell him how I feel? How should I do it?

It's almost summer and I've had a crush on a guy for about half the year and I want to tell him before we break up for summer. Our school's sports day is next week and I was thinking of telling him then bc I could walk away if it got awkward and I'll be spending the whole day with him so I'll have time to prepare. I've never met him and I don't know him so I'm thinking it would look a bit weird if a randomly added him because his mum suggested it. We've only one mutual friend through a girl in my class who I would be very friendly with. From what she's told me he seems really nice and is quite cute :) what should I do, and if I add him what should I say?

There's a guy in my class who I've notices keeps looking at me, I caught him 5 times today in one class! We've not really talked that much except maybe outside the classroom a few times but nothing of significance. Why does he keep looking at me?

My friend was talking to my crush and I was mentioned in passing. My crush told my friend that he was aware that I was flirting with him but that he didn't mind I was doing it. He gave no decisive answer as to whether or not he liked me and refuses to tell any of my friends who he likes if they ask, even the one who he's really close to and has known since a young age. What does this mean for me?

There's this boy in my year who's in one of my classes. We knew each other from mutual friends and he got my number from one of them. He started texting me frequently and at first I barely replied and found him somewhat annoying. After a while I started replying and we had some really good conversations. We text pretty much everyday. The only thing is is that he's told me he likes me, and while I do like him as a friend I'm not romantically interested in him. I explained to him that while I was flattered I wasn't interested. He seemed to back off but mentioned it again a few weeks later. I told him my answer was still the same and it was left at that. We continued to text every day as normal. About 2 weeks ago he asked me to go into town with him and I didn't want to, but I didn't know how to say no and agreed. I kept making excuses to put it off until today when I ran out of excuses. Yesterday he had text me telling me that he had been talking to my crush and then I said to him about my friend and how a boy she liked had been ignoring her since he found out. He then said there were guys like that in the world but said he knew one who wasn't and who could possibly be a better candidate for me than my crush. I made one or two guesses not wanting to say his name, and gave up on the third one. He then said it was him and I told him that I wasn't interested. When we went into town it was kinda awkward for me and he followed me around like a lost puppy. I was bored and couldn't wait to leave. After finally managing to leave I went on facebook and saw that he had liked a post where my friend answered a question saying 'do you think rachel is awesome?'. This had been posted in march. This boy doesn't seem to be getting the message I'm not interested and text me later saying, 'thanks for today :) we should do it again sometime :P' I didn't reply. What can I do? I don't want to hurt him but he's really freaking me out now and I don't think it would be in anyones best interets if we continued talking. Help please?!?!?!?! Sorry that was so long btw.

I'm bored with just sticking my hair up in a ponytail or straightening it, and my hair never stays straight! I'd like to curl it but I don't have time to do it the night before or in the morning with curlers and I always need help with a curling iron.
