  • Extreme cramping. Help please?

I'm 8dpo. Today, after an orgasm, I had severe uterine cramping. Almost like a very long contraction. I can barely stand. Does anyone know if this could be caused by early pregnancy?? I've never had pain this intense afterwards before.

  • Kind of confused.. opinions would be greatly appreciated.?

i first posted this in the wrong category... dumb phone lol. soo here goes. weve been ttc off and on for a few years now. i have pcos so its been difficult for us. i lost a pregnancy at 5 weeks in april and my first pregnancy i tested neg until i was 11.5 weeks. also i had very few symptoms...

AF is 8 days late, ive been semi sick to my stomach with occasional vomiting( between once a day to once every other day), my breasts have been itchy and sore with almost a tingly sensation, slight cramping that feels almost like a pulling or pinching in my right pelvic area that comes and goes, crazy irritability even people around me talking seems to fluster me lol, i had a tiny amount of rust colored spotting for about an hour yesterday nothing since then, i have been waking at night to pee which is odd for me as i usually dont. when i lay on my tummy i feel the need to urinate even if ive just gone. i have taken 3 very cheap hpt, 2 neg and one faint pos or an evatoration line. i havent tested in about a week to s week and a half. i will be testing again friday if AF doesnt show. i just wanted to get a few outside opinions. thank you in advance!!

  • Help with my dream of child dying?

I had a terrible dream that I awoke from sweating, shaking and clenching my jaws.

It starts with mydelf, my husbad and our 2 year old daughter hanging out at home. My daughter and I go out to check the mail but when she opens the mailbox a swarm of tiny bees surround her and stings her. I grab her and run inside to tell my husband that we need to take her to the hospital before she has a severe reaction. He tells me she only has a rash and she will be fine. We argue over this for a while. I look down at my daughter and she is coveredin sting bumps and is lethargic. We start.getting ready to go when the front door flings open and a man and woman rush into the house. The man punched my husband in the face knocking onto the couch. he says that they are here to kill us. I scream at the man that I must get my daughter to the hospital before she dies and he says that means he has one less person to kill. After pleading with him I finally tell the man that by killing my husband he is doing me a huge favor bc I have wanted a divorce for years and he will be saving me alot of time anf money. The man agrees to let the woman he came in with take my daughter and I to the hospital. The woman takes my daughter out to the van while I say goodbye to my husband as I know he will die. When I get out to the van I see the woman screaming about blood being everywhere. I look on the ground and there is my baby girl svreaming "mommy save ne". She is bleeding from the back of her head, her eyes and her mouth. She is screaming for me and trying to crawl to be but she cant move. Her head is swaying side to side and shes crying and bleeding badly. I ask the woman what she did to my daughter and she tells me nothing. That my daughter was put in her carseat but she started bleeding soo the woman put her on the ground. I loom down at my dying daughter and then wake up

I can still picture my babygirl sitting there screaming for me. I terrified something bad will happen to her

  • Should I be concerned?

My daughter is 20 months old. She is 37 inches tall and weighs 26 pounds. The health department told me she is only in the 5th percentile for her weight and the 97th for heights. They said I need to make her drink a pediatric protein shake every day and feed her more. I give her the shakes but I cant make her eat. She eats 3 well balanced meals a day as well as 4 snacks through out the day. Ive called the pediatrician but bc her 2 year check up is in 4 months he doesnt want to see her until then. Ive never been around kids before my daughter soo im not sure how to help het put on weight or if she even needs to. Please no comments on how I cant parent without asking strangers. I parent just fine, I just wanted other parents opinions is all

  • toddler is losing weight?

i posted a question a few days ago and the answers really made me feel much better about the situation. soo i have another question concerning my daughter. ive talked to her Pedi. but he doesnt seem to listen to a thing i say about her.My daughter is 16 months old. she weighs 23.4 lbs and is 34.5 inches tall. i know her height is up there lol. at her 12 month check up she weighed 26.12 lbs. then at 15 months when she went to get vaccines she was only 25.1 lbs. i weighed her tonight and she is down to 23.4 lbs. im worried about her losing weight and all her pedi says is if she gets below 22 lbs then he will start to worry. but as it is now she is below the 10th percentile for weight to height and im not sure how she is losing weight. she eats 3 scheduled meals a day and has 3 snacks a day.

  • concerned about my daughters eyes?

My Daughter is 14 months old. She was born with one pupil slightly larger than the other and recently ive started noticing that when the light hits them they appear red in color. it looks just like red eye in photos which i know is common but i have never seen anyones eyes appear red in light. im unsure if it matters much but her eyes change colors with her mood. when she is happy they are emerald green with blue and gold flecks and when she is upset they are a brown hazel color. i have scheduled an appt with an eye dr but was wondering if anyone else experienced this.

  • is it possible for a 14 month old to have hyperactivity?

before i even get started i want to say that i do not believe that she should be put on medications but i have read of a few dietary changes that could help with her behavior.

My daughter will be 14 months old in a week. i know that alot of he behaviors are typical for a toddler but am concerned about a few.

The most concerning is that she is always rubbing her thumb along her finger tips almost as if she were signing for money or something like that. its hard to explain. she is always doing this. when she tries to fall asleep, when she is playing, throwing a temper fit, all the time.

She is very impulsive. she knows the meaning of no and stop but she refuses to listen. its like she has no control over her impulses. She doesnt play with her toys in a typical way. always knocking them over or throwing them against the floor to try and break them open. if i have a 2 liter bottle sitting in the floor she will runn up knock it over and runn away. She has a terrible time getting to sleep and staying asleep. usually she wakes at 730 in the morning refuses to take a nap during the day and then will not go to sleep until around 10pm. once she is asleep she wakes between 4 and 10 times every night and will try to play. i cant even find a babysitter for her bc after one evening with her they all say that she is too "crazy" to continue to watch.

i have an appointment with her pediatrician scheduled but i do not want to take her i will be forced to put her on medication. also i have read that children who have hyperactivity usually do out grow it by adulthood soo im not worried about her quality of life or anything like that. im just wondering if an parents out there with a child who has hyperactivity could help me. i am a first time mom and until i had her i had never even been around kids. Should i switch her diet to be on the safe side and hope that she can calm down a little???

  • Should i enroll my 1 year old in a school for the gifted?

I recently spoke with a Child development evaluator to be sure my 13 month old wasnt behind, and she was mentioning that my daughter should be enrolled in a school for gifted and talented children by time she is 2 and a half. I think its a bit young to put that kind of pressure on her and just wanted others with above average children to give me their opinions on it.

She is currently saying 3 and 4 word sentences, knows many colors, counts to 5 with a little help, can say 30 -40 words and know the meaning, potties on the toilet all but at night she wont wake to potty, she can turn the computer on and of and knows that in a game the space bar makes you jump and the windows key shuts the game down. has an amazing memory, and also loves puzzles and to learn new things. she also knows the hand movements to many nursery rhymes and can point out and say the name of many animals.

i know im going to get crap about bragging but that is not my intention. i guess i need some help making this decision for her, i do not in any way want to overwhelm my daughter by enrolling her in a school like this but i want her to have every opportunity to excel in life. please let me know what you would do. thanks in advance

  • What is wrong with all these parents!?!?

Every day i hear a new reason why i should smack my toddler. I am soo sick of everyones answer to every behavioral issue being smack the child. its sickening.

I have an 11 month old and she loves to hit me. she thinks its funny. she also bites alot. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions that does not involve abuse, physical or emotional. i really need her to stop this because we would like to start taking her to play dates but she is soo mean to the other kids. her 4 year old aunt runs away from her half the time because she is soo mean. i dont know what to do anymore. ive tried time out but she just sits in her pack and play and bawls. i cant stand to see her cry so that doesnt work. i try sitting her in the floor when she does this but then she just walks back up to me and hits and bites my legs.

please if anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it

  • Do you think i spoil my daughter?

I am a SAHM and I have been told by a few people that my 8.5 month old is spoiled. I was also told by one very unpleasant person that i needed to wake up and join the real world lol. But i am unsure if they are right or if they just raised their children differently. I include my daughter in everything. She helps me pick out her food and clothes at the store and what she wants to wear in the mornings. I am always playing with her and she is never left to play alone unless she wants to. As soon as she starts to get upset i pick her up or i play with her. she never cries at all unless she is having a bad day from teething. I rock her to sleep every nap and at night and get up with her during the night and cuddle her til she falls back asleep. when she is having a bad night and having a hard time sleeping i will cuddle with her most of the night so that she can sleep peacefully. If she doesnt want to do something i dont make her and if she doesnt want whatever it is i am trying to feed her i will give her something else.

I feel that i am just doing my job as a parent and spending the time i need to for her to learn things. At 8 months old she already says many words. mama, dada, baba, night night, no, yeah, again, more, bite, guhma(grandma), hi, mhmm, yum, nummy, i love you, yucky, eewwie. She is also sitting up on her own, crawling, standing on her own, pulling up on things, brushes her hair as well as mine, helps me brush her teeth and helps me wash her when she is in the bath.

thanks for your opinions ahead of time

  • 8.5 month old wont drink her formula anymore!?!?

I ran out of formula the day before yesterday. my husband had the car at work so i had no way to get top the store to get more. So i gave her deluted whole milk. 4 ounces for milk and 4 of water. At Skylin's 6 month check up my Pedi said i couldnt give her whole milk until 10 months but this was an emergency or i wouldnt have. She has been on solids since she was 4 months and has had foods with milk cooked into them so i assumed the two bottle i gave her would be okay until i got formula. Well she had decided she doesnt want the formula anymore. i have tried to give her 8 or9 bottles of formula and she wont take it. she takes a sip says UCK!! and throws it down then starts crying. icalled the pedi and she told me at 8.5 months if it was all she will drink then she would recommend just switching to whole milk early but i had always heard it wasnt good for babies to drink it soo young. i was just wondering if any other moms out there switched to whole milk early and if it had any negative effects on their child.

  • is my 8 month old behind?

I have been a little worried lately that my 8 month old daughter isnt developing as fast as she should be. any help is greatly appreciated. She will be 8 months old on the 26th of this month. here is a list of what she is doing.

    she says:

mama, dahee(daddy), Guhma(grandma), Bah bah, nye nye(night night), hi, good, yuck, yumm, i ofe ooo( i love you), no, yeah.

    She does:

roll through the house, scoot on her tummy, gets on all fours and tries to crawl, stands leaning on couch and walls, cruises on the couch and walls, tries to pull herself up, sits unsupported but cant get into sitting position by herself, plays peek a boo, hides under the blankie to play wheres my babygirl, babbles a little but not much, doesnt pull herself up, holds onto my fingers and walks and runs through the house. She gives kisses when you ask and blows kisses, waves hi and bye, gives high fives, and brushes hers and my hair occasionally, she also knows the colors green and yellow and will point them out when you ask her sometimes.

she is my first child and i dont really know where she should be in her development. i have asked my dr about this but she wont really answer me. also she will flap her hands and arms around when she gets excited, angry or when she cant reach something she wants.

  • Could something be wrong with my daughter?

My daughter was born with dark brown hair and the typical grey eyes. over the past few months her eyes turned blue and green with a bit of gold in them. just in the past few days all of the gold has left her eyes and they are now green with dark blue around the outer iris and around the pupil. yesterday i noticed a few blonde hairs starting to come in on her head. when we woke this morning her hair was blonde. like an ashe blonde or dirty blonde. her eye brows had changed to this color also. She is 7 months old. im concered but now sure if i have a reason to be. she is my first child.
