I am taking the bus regularly now and when it gets crowded I will give up my seat if there is a lady standing.( I learned to do this from my grandfather, a gentleman from the old school). Today a woman commended me for doing so but cautioned me not to do it too often "because women are out in the field and need to take their lumps like anyone else". My question really is when I give up my seat am I doing the right thing or am I being a male chauvinist?

Overall I like the additions they made in the off-season but their schedule looks tough. In addition to the usual two games against New England they have to play Baltimore, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and the Giants; no easy games this year.
