  • Help 2 & 1/2 year old starting sleeping issues?

    Hi,

This has probably been posted numerous times but any help/advice would be appreciated! My 2 & 1/2 year old has been a pretty perfect sleeper from about 3 months old. Over the last month or so he has started waking at 5.30am (previously 7pm - 7am) we have tried everything from cutting afternoon nap, going to bed later, putting him back to bed at 5.30 etc

He is not grumpy when he gets up (but we are a bit!) but he's past it by 9am and won't always go for a nap. He is also biting down on a lot of things (not people) but all his teeth have been through for a while and I don't know if it's related.

We have been so fortunate on the sleep front and I know 5.30am is not the end of the world but I don't know if this is a passing phase that if we ignore it then it may get better or try to do something to break this cycle.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

  • 5 month old baby started waking lots through the night?

My 5 month old baby has always been a great sleeper. Since he was 6 weeks old he would wake for a bottle then go back to sleep. Most nights he would go down between 7 & 8, up at 4am for feed and back to sleep till around 7. He dropped the 4am feed himself normally sleeping till 6 then dozing till 7.

For the last week he seems to be waking a lot crying around 1am, 4am and 6am. He has a pacifier to go to sleep which we remove once he's sleeping but now we are constantly putting it back in so he goes back to sleep.

He's been on solids for a few weeks too and no changes there so it seems odd that he's waking more when we've not done anything differently.

Just looking for any advice or info which may help.

  • Baby sleeping through the night?

My baby is 6 weeks and 2 days old and for the last 2 nights has slept from 8.30pm - 4.30am, quick feed then back to sleep till 9am. Is this too good to be true? Scared to get hopes up incase it's due to growth spurt. Anyone else experienced this & does it last??

    Thanks!
