Mr. Cats

I've own my toshiba laptop now going on for about 3 years now and its been great and running well most of the time as I take pretty good care of it. But up until two weeks ago the audio of my laptop has been sounding terrible and choppy and I don't understand why. The CPU usage is only at about 30% and I tried scanning for virus's and updating all the drives and the audio still wont stop stuttering.

any suggestions to get rid of this problem?
